Can I just drop a bombshell?
Thanks :rotfl:
No seriously, I am honestly considering breaking the tradition of many years and NOT going to the Boots boxing day sale this year, or indeed in the following days. I may relent once it's down to 75% off but I am finding the new stuff pretty unexciting and would like to challenge myself to not buy anything make-up or toiletry related. Anyone with me on this?No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023

I usually look at the food gifts but even those just look a bit half hearted this year! the beauty ones i wouldnt even give them half price for.
everything I've seen so far from all the shops has just been a bit "meh". the only ones that I'm even vaguely considering are the elemis sets and i might have a look at the laura mercier sets when they go to half price on boxing day but i wont pay full price for any of them.
im planning on saving my money and taking it round the christmas markets so i might at least get something unique! if not, at least i know ill enjoy a giant bratwurst and mulled wine! :rotfl:0 -

I'll join you, easy for me though as I have never bought anything from the sale, for me Boxing Day is about family time not sale shopping.
Have been to Boots today for a new hairbrush as my big round one is on it's last legs and I am pleased to say that was all I came out with. Had a look at the Christmas sets and they seem the same as every other year pretty much, would be happy to receive one but won't buy for myself.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

So far I'm not enthused, but I am considering a £1 per uu cash stash and spending that: I don't think I'll be buying lots this year. Unless they are holding items back.0 -
