Oh that suck about the house! Wedding... house move... uni... madness!!! I'm glad you have given in and e mailed the bus people. I know it is just so fustrating to pay out that money for 'nothing' but you will be freaking out a few weeks before the wedding if you hadn't booked it lol I can't even imagine how I would be if i had to worry about tartan fittings as well!!

Well done you for loosing weight! It did make me laugh thinking there is a woman out there running after a tiny peeing child waving a bag of dimontees in the air stressing about slippers! I feel much calmer now

It was 'Valentines Day' in Wales this Saturday so we exchanged cards and went out for a walk in the drizzley weather and then really poshed things off with a couple of pizzas at home with OH brother and sister in law! - I had a stinking cold all last week so all i have done for the past 2 weeks is eat, I have put on over 2 stone in the past few years since the OH and I got together and being 5,1" it is really noticable Will really try and sort this out in the next few months... if i don't keep eating pizza... lol

Other than that i sewed 88 bunting glags so not have 127 in total for the barn decorations, made 3 jar 'vases' for the table centres and went through editing the wedding programme for the ceremony so although i have not done much it feels like a lot!

Very good scmp, i think i would have been tempted to give that amount of bunting to my class and pass it of as a crafts exercise lol

I lost a lot of weight when we syarted going out but im up about 3 dress sizes so i think its more than 2 stone. Im sure you look fab anyway.

i had done quotes about the bus before but just never got round to it. I have managed to get it down to 150, half of some of the quotes and have put it at 3 an hour after the ceremony starts so enough time to have a quick chat and the group pictures. I need to phone and pay the deposit tomorrow

May you could have bunting at yours and make the class do it!!!!!
To be hoenst we had asked our mums to make it as they both sew and both want to be involved.... I got a sewing machine from my MIL for Christmas... lol
They have not done any yet but it kept me occupied for a couple of hours!! I have only done the flags... they can do the awkward sewing on a ribbon bit! To be honest we need ALOT of bunting for two barns ( they are about 12/14 picnic tables long and easily 4 picnic table wide lenth ways ) Hmmm we may need to actually measure the barns

Good luck withthe bus, that sound like good timing for group photos and such.

DD has just about cracked the potty training shes a star. halved the nappy spend (only need to buy them for DS and one for DD for bed) so thats more money for the wedding fund. im feeling suprisingly calm today i think most of the stuff for wedding is organised for now, at least in my head it is lol. so only stressing about reception now.

my to do list for wedding:
1 make buttonholes x2 (artificial flowers just need taping together.)
2 embellish DDs flower ball with ribbons etc
3 buy wedding outfits for OH,DS1,DD,DS2 and niece (all chosen and from bhs so just need to wait a bit longer to make sure sizes are right)
4 buy my jewllery and underware.
5 decide on hairstyles for me and niece
6 buy flowers for me and niece (artificial bouquets)
7 fill in and send off M10 forms:)
8 pay all balances registrar/hotel etc
9 check all details
10 get a haircut
11 get final fitting and pick up dress
12 start to panic::o
13 pack cases
14 panic iv forgotten something unpack and repack cases
15 travel to gretna
16 panic, get ready, panic some more, finish getting ready, panic again_pale_
17 get married:happyhear
18 really panic when we need to tell everyone:eek::eek::eek:

Scmp - the only problem with me setting the class a bunting project is that they are aged p1-3 not sure i could trust then with sewing machines lol. It may end badly.

runaway bride i love the list, very realistic but i hate writing to do lists that i couldnt finish until later, i have been known to write 2 one for this week the other for next lol.

I should add im having a hair dilemma.

i have dyed my hair red either with highlights or full head since i was about 16 (8 years) and i was thinking i should go back to brown for my wedding. I was thinking i dknt wanna look back at pics and think what was i doing with red hair.

However, ive started growing the red out and im thinking i really dont like my natural colour and i have no idea how to get the red out of my hair. I could prob get the hairdresser to strip it out but i hate waiting ages in hairdressers.

ive asked my friends and they thought maybe go brown but my mum said i like the red.

I realise this is a huge post about hair so maybe i am thinking more about it than i should lol. After all that im thinking maybe i should stay red?

I would be tempted to go natural for the sake of the photos.
My natural hair is mid to dark brown which ithink looks dull. What i had done was to put a honey colour highlights put with by using foils... took FOREVER! But is made it look a lot brighter, almost natural and definately summery. Very happy.

I was so awkward in the hair dresssers as i normally cut my hair myself (it is quite long to it is easy lol) I was like a fish out of water whilst these teenagers were messing with my hair lol.

Just think of the future and looking back at your photos, on the day you spent so much money and saw all of your family celebrating do you want to be thinking... i'm so not happy with my hair!

It is up to you of course and it matters how you will feel on the day, the photos will be that snap shot of your life that you will hold forever and may get passed down to your childrens children.

Well done on cracking the potty training Runaway bride! More money for the wedding, i like it! I had not even thhough about hair... i am sooo going to make a list this week! I have everything in a spreadsheet because i think if i had a list it would be Loooooooooooong!

my def i would say whatever you do with your hair make sure your comfortable with it and get it done in plenty of time because you may find you need to rethink your whole look make up etc what looked right with red hair might not with brown. also has your OH seen you without red hair ? im guessing he likes the red lol.
i love lists lol i have lots only problem is they seem to keep getting longer not shorter lol
im probably going to be going awol for a few days so il have to do a catchup. iv changed my line rental from BT to post office to save £5 a month but i have always had my calls and broadband with AOL the cheapest for me. for some reason because im changing line there cancelling it after a long call with CS to try and stop this the best they can come up with is for me to ring and reorder the day its cancelled but that means it can take upto 14 days. i would of gone with someone else but at £7.49 a month for anytime calls and broadband nothing else compares im just hoping they will still give me that price, they said they would. so im not abandoning you from friday and il check in if i can work out how to use my mobile internet lol.

Awwwww We thought of the 21st as well due to the Solstice but with family arrangements it would have only worked the week before or the week after, but that means the last weekend we are 'single' we get to enjoy they way we want to
