I've already sent an email informing them that they're committing fraud and have also given their details to other companies and suppliers.

I've also warned them that if they carry on I will take the matter further. (Does anyone know how I would take the matter further?)

@giantmutantbroccoli - The price wasn't 0.00 but was incorrectly priced by the supplier.
  • Then they should reappraise their hosting policy, or their content input policy. It's still not fraud. Pain in the backside, yes, but lets not accuse people of criminal activity when it isn't :)

Quite. If OP disclosed this customer's details saying they have committed fraud then slander/libel could also be an issue.
Common sense?...There's nothing common about sense!

Cross your fingers and hope that the customer doesn't find out what you've done!

I told them in the email I sent that I was going to pass their details on.

Indeed. You should count yourself lucky if you don't get sued yourself!
One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.

Ok then, cross your fingers and hope that the customer is really thick and doesn't realise that what you've done could end up in a huge payday for them.

As it's not fraud then you better hope that the customer doesn't understand data protection, libel and defamation of character laws and sue your !!! off :/

In the reply I received they said that their activity wasn't fraud and that they would use whatever they could against me If I were to share their details wrongfully.

If I was the OP, I'd sell up and go live in a country that we have no extradition treaty with . . .:rotfl:

This thread is starting to sound an awful lot like a wind up.

If it isn't, then you're rather stuffed...and deserve it!
