    Last time I went out for a pint, it was in our work social club for £1.95

    That was a few years ago now though. I stop at home and drink, cheaper :)
  • £5 and over - No way, you have to be joking - let us know where you live!
    I was in a pub on Old Compton Street (admittedly Soho prices aren't the best but still...) and ordered two pints of ale: £11. Seriously. £5.50 per pint. Needless to say we only had the one round of that particular ale. I'd like to say it was delicious but I actually found it had a balsamicy- vinegary- taste.
    Hey you gender nectar;
    Crystalline from the vine.
  • pints are usually looking at around £3.20 to £3.80

    Must be about 3 quid now, and not even for the good stuff. Was 2.50 only a few year ago.

    In my local, usually around £3 - £3.20, but in the pubs near my work, they're usually closer to the £4 mark unless it's something on special offer (John Smith's, Tennent's or Carling, usually). A few drinks after work can get very expensive...
