Welcome welcome Wednesday! I can barely believe I am through to the midpoint of another week - where does the time go? Mr HOK3Y has TWO paydays coming next week so we should be feeling less of a pinch and next weekend should see some additional pennies hit the US account and the cc should drop under $5k for the first time since 2012 when we ran it back up with moving costs! It will be paid off completely by the end of January. Man it feels good to know that! Then one bill left to attack!

Looking at another interesting day of bank rec trouble.....when I took my job, one of the team members resigned as she was so offended she wasn't offered the position. I never met her. I have since had to go through her work systematically and every task (and I do mean every thing she did without exception) has been significantly wrong. This bank rec is for an account she insisted on handling and I thought would be a fast and easy catch up......nope! I swear if she walked into the office I would struggle to be civil! So yesterday I got a good handle on her errors and today I need to fix it. I want it off my desk by COP so I had better hit the ground running when I get there!

Haven't got the money from the insurance but just received £2,125 from the sale of a necklace in the US!!!! SMACK to the CC!!!!

Well top o' the mornin' to ya Thursday! Welcoming you with open arms as I am better off this morning and I will be even better off tonight! It has turned out to be a serious money couple of days and the even better part of this is that the difficult member of my team is now off for the rest of the week so I am going to LOVE being in the office even more than normal! Oh happy day!!!!

So bring it on! I'll be checking my US bank religiously for the extra pennies to transfer to the cc and I will still be out wombling later and taking my lunchtime walk on my daily roadkill mission! Lots of love and luck to all my fellow DFWs!
