Cannot believe I am awake and relatively happy when I didn't go to bed until past 1am but here I am with a smile on my face! Monday morning, gotta love it but it will be a short work week as I am off Friday and I do love the feeling of a new week, with the new possibilities it brings.

So here's hoping for another brilliant week of roadkill and wombled receipts. Going to try to get some Boots receipts this week also and maybe even Costa......expanding the repertoire!

5p found in the train station this evening. Will there be anymore at my home station? We shall see - I'm still on the train!

My son will be waiting for me also. What a brilliant welcome home for me! Have barely stopped smiling all day even if worked half to death today.....crazy busy but it made the time fly which is all I care about because that means I feel I see my beautiful blond haired boy sooner. One of the first things he told me last night is that he is now taller than his dad - way cool!! He is a superb young man and I am so very proud of him.

Tip from another thread: If you find receipts with points to add you can add them to your loyalty card. I never even thought of this! Not sure how much benefit I might get but I'm gonna give it a shot!

Thank you, brizzle! It is lovely to have him here with me.

We had a brilliant time in A$da - found £1 on the floor and 3 wombled receipts! One gave us £1.02 in a voucher and now we have a couple of hours to wait to check the others (plus the one from our shop). Here's hoping for a bumper voucher payout!

Sometimes, no matter how much you wish something were different, you have to accept that someone is not in a position to truly help themselves......and therefore there is little you can do. Given that I only have so much energy to go around, I'm going to spend it more wisely from here on!

i feel the same way today HOK3Y - if someone wants to do something - in the end only they will be able to get themselves to do it. The kindest words, the most motivating speeches can only go some way to encouraging people! (Unless you're a cult leader in which case I want to be indoctrinated into the church of hok3y!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:)

i think in this case LBMs can relate to every aspects of our lives and only we can have these LBMs to realise things need to change. Like my OH having an LBM that he could live with my doggy! Yay! :j:j hehe!
