Hubby dragged me out to Sainsburys (well, he couldn't drive after the whiskey ) and I found 5p roadkill at the checkout. Came home to find another £5.95 in my matched bet account! Yay!

Saturday morning and already it has been a good day as I got to lie in until 9.15am in my lovely, warm bed. Looking forward to relaxing a little with hubby and pulling in some more cash. Wishing everyone a happy and productive weekend!

Well, well, what an interesting day! Just got back from Asda having found 22p in roadkill and snagging 2 receipts off the floor to check for coupons! . PMd a lovely lady on here about an issue with dreams and am a little blown away by the response.....lots to think about this afternoon.

Looking forward to an evening with hubby and a Harry Potter marathon.....and seeing as I took a sneaky afternoon nap, I reckon it's gonna be pretty easy for me to stay up, but I can't say the same for hubster!

Well, lovely lady has just knocked my freakin' socks off. With very little information about a recurring theme in my dreams she has just nailed me absolutely and I think I may need a lie down in a dark room. :eek: If ever there was a time to pick myself up and forge forward it appears to be now. That savings goal in my signature is one dead serious future fencepost. Time to really ramp up my life......onwards and upwards!

While in Asda today, hubby and I went on a receipt search.....yeah, we might look a little desperate but as far as I'm concerned, receipts are possibly free cash lying on the floor! Brought 2 of them home and one of them just netted us 52p - this makes roadkill truly more interesting!

Started the morning with some baking - made cheese and bacon skonts for breakfast.....yummy! Lovely sunshine here today so polishing off a cup of tea and then heading out for a walk. Hope everyone has a productive but relaxing debt busting Sunday!

Hubby has got a bit of a wild hair about playing with scones this weekend and so he's christened his creations 'skonts' and rather good they are too. Here's a pic of the cheese and bacon ones from this morning......absolutely delish!

£1.27 netted from a receipt we found in Asda! Chuffed to bits to have found out about this - its more exciting than finding coins even if we probably look a bit weird searching for them! Did find a 2p but that goes to show you that it's far more profitable to snag receipts.

Took a lovely walk through Nidd Gorge this afternoon and it was so beautiful. The weather here has been absolutely gorgeous - just could not have been better. Hubby had never been down into the gorge before and loved it. We even found some geocaches on the way. Spending a quiet evening in together and maybe watching a movie.

Slightly concerning note: I had forgotten our car's MOT is due and when it did dawn on me, I figured it was mid-month, after my payday.........er, not exactly.........it's due on the 3rd!!! :eek: So have saved £25 booking online into Halfords and now just need to hope there's nothing wrong with it!

Going to try to enjoy the rest of my weekend before the start of a new working week. Wishing everyone a lovely Sunday evening. One more day until we can kick goodbye to September and know that we are one month closer to being DF. That's true even if you have backslid this month. We all have a debt free date in our future if we are determined to get rid of what we owe and every day takes us closer to that, no matter if our debt today is higher or lower than yesterday. We will get there if we keep the end goal in mind.
