:D Mr HOK3Y has already clocked the smile.....I'm in trouble! :D

Came back from Asda having spent way more than I wanted but hubby needed razor blades........£21 for razor blades!!!! They are the only thing he insists on spending money on and seeing as he shaves his head and strives to make them last (we haven't bought any in a couple of months), I don't tend to complain but OMG it hurts to buy them! I did save £7.35 in multibuys though - can I add that to my September challenge?? Off to check!

Oooooooo!!! I have never checked our receipts from Asda for their price guarantee before but I darn well will from now on! Just been handed £2.51 in vouchers! Guess what I'll be doing on Saturday?? Scouring the car park for dropped receipts! :D

Razor blades are soooooo expensive!! I hate it! Hubby normally has to wait ages with dull blunt ones as I refuse to pay full price so will only buy if they're on sale!

Amen, wegle! Just horrifying. We had yet another discussion about it last night and he is just as disgusted as I am but said that it makes such a difference to buy the brand he gets that he'll put up with blunt ones for a while rather than go cheap. Urg!

Meanwhile, I have an afternoon of bank rec ahead......not mine unfortunately! :D But I suppose the main bank account at work is far more interesting than mine as there's rather a lot more money in it.......for now! Ha! I should note down the bank balance as of today's date and make that my 10 year goal.......lottery win required! :D

Gulp. Well. I checked the balance and boy did I pick a day to contemplate this one! I worked out how much money I would need everyday for the next 10 years (although, granted, I didn't account for growth through interest!) and it's apparent that not only do I need to increase my salary and then not spend a penny of it, but I also need to convince the tax man to stop dipping into it! Still, it would make one hell of a target.....and I do like to aim high......and if decide to count all my assets in 10 years rather than just my bank account........yeah, it will still be aiming way over my head!! But, I dunno, why the hell not? Hmmmm, I don't think it's impossible so why can't I?

Five hundred and thirty seven thousand pounds. Doesn't sound much when you say it fast! :D Hmmmmm. I'm seriously considering it!

  • Do it! What' the worse that could happen if you fail? You'll no doubt have more money than you would if you didn't try.

I'm sure you said somewhere that you could have £52,000 if everything goes to plan in a year ish...... what's another little 0 ;)
