Thanks pwps, working is working, and it's easier to get a better job when you're already in one. So this is a definite stepping stone.

Once I start I can actually get out of the house to go socialise with my old friends too - I've not made a big deal about coming home to them yet so haven't caught up with most of them.

Additionally it means I can start paying Dad some keep money I feel quite guilty for living here while he won;t take any money from me to cover the additional costs of having me here.

Thanks Stewby, still waiting for a start date though, then again I also need to find my last P60 or hope my P45 arrives as they're not happy to use an old pay slip as evidence of my NI number.

Went for a run tonight, went with my Dad up to Entwistle Reservior, I ran one circuit while he walked the opposite direction, but he didn't tell me he was going up the top end towards the old quarry towards Cadshaw so I ended up doing almost 4.5 miles of a 3 mile run having not passed him to retrieve his car keys. Can't help thinking that choice is going to be more painful for me tomorrow than it will be for him!

Another £1 has hit my paypal account from qmee, logged in and I've not got £12.60 and $36.85 balances.

Will withdraw the sterling balance when it hits £20 I think.

Not too sure what to do with the $ balance as the exchange rate typically isn't great so might let it keep building - I only really add to it these days through .50c cash outs on apptrailers so not one which builds up quickly.

Still waiting for the call about the job, getting a little bit antsy now as I really want to be working!

Had an email at lunchtime letting me know I've won an ebook copy of a new book by an author I've loved reading in the past so really looking forward to getting that one.

Hi Mara, I think this comp I entered after seeing a link on goodreads, but I get fairly regular wins from the goodreads giveaways for physical books - I tend to rate and write occasional short reviews of the books I'm reading/have read and wins seem to come around the same time as I write the short reviews.
Otherwise I'd say check out the amazon free list, I;ve had loads from there, some good, some bad, some worse than you can possibly imagine but as a result my Kindle is never empty.

I believe my friends are awful horrid people. I've been using endomondo to log my runs, and the awful horrid people keep liking it when the route map and time posts to facebook. I swear they like seeing the evidence that I'm hurting my poor lazy fat body by making it move so quickly without the aid of a car.

Quick email check has led me to the discovery of two different survey payments having landed in my paypal account totalling £7, which puts me very close to my self imposed minimum withdrawal of £20. Hopefully break that total over the weekend and get the money out next week.

Managed to end up not sleeping well last night again so managed to spend all morning sleeping and rolled out of bed about 1pm.

I've not had a NSD/SFD as I had a mystery shop to get done, but obviously I'll get the reimbursement in a few weeks making it cost neutral.

Requested a £25 paypal reward from swagbucks. :D

Earned some qmee pennies, if I've not got to the £20 in paypal target by Sunday I'll cash out qmee early instead of waiting for it to reach £1 again.

Still not heard about the job, fingers crossed I'll hear on Monday. :(
