I'm impressed the 20 euro/£16 from mingle landed in my bank account this morning. Have transferred it to my spendy account and will bounce it out again on to my credit card on Monday. Meaning I've got £58 to make an overpayment with. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Felt terrible all weekend thanks to the start of a cold.
Not feeling much better today but the razor blades have gone from my throat so hopefully the rest of the symptoms go soon.
In happier news I've had a WEM this morning, I've won a bottle of rum and a novelty drinking cup. Think the rum will make a Christmas pressie for a friend but I'll keep the cup. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Thanks PWPS.
I'm wondering if I can elect to take a day off my life. Had a shower earlier and while drying my hair couldn't work out why it still felt greasy. It appears that while I did use shampoo I didn't use it on the top of my head, as I don't remember using conditioner at all but do remember 'conditioning' the ends of my hair. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

I'm sure I will later. When I don't feel like bursting in to tears as I feel rotten with my cold and have greasy hair too.
Not sure why but this evening I've been thinking about why I'm single, and how stunningly unsucessful I've been when it comes to dating. Still I've had some memorable dates - even if they haven't been with guys I'd want to see again. That said I've never really 'dated' any of my boyfriends, two were long distance to begin with, and I'd known both of them before we became a couple, and the third was a guy who was a customer at my last work place - which I knew would never be a good idea what with him being in a worse state than my financially, obsessed with talking about his estranged wife and his son, yet never wanted me to meet said kid (not that I was keen on the idea but thats not the point) - so we never really dated as we were both too skint/working odd shifts.
Sigh so I need a financially stable bloke with no kids/ex wives in tow who is my age or slightly older. Somehow thats starting to seem like a really tall order. Most of the mid 30's bloke's I know who aren't coupled up are single for good reason. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Aw scooby, don't cry, it's only a wee mistake. We all do silly things sometimes. I do more than most I think.

You just need to be positive. I went off relationships when I was about 21 (some men just put you right off) and then was unsuccessful for about a year before giving up and deciding I would be a crazy old dog lady (as I am not a fan of cats).
It was by pure chance that I met my OH (will pm you the details as they are pretty unique). And although he drives me crazy sometimes, I can't imagine being without him now.
There is always time to meet someone. You just need to be patient, it will happen. (ew, I sound so smushy. It's disgusting).

Dirty horrible coupley person

Nah I just feel yucky and expected my hair to be clean to help me feel better - typical me managing to get that wrong!
I know I'll meet someone when the times right, think its a reaction to my generally feeling unwell, along with being unemployed (still not heard from the agency), and lets face it most of the decent still single men are probably saying decent women who are still single are just as messed up as I think they must be.

I thought you got the job?? Have they changed their minds??

You need a hot water bottle. Better than any man cause they don't put their cold feet on you.
Not recommending anyone take drugs but I quite often find beechams flu plus help me when I have a "cold", (I call it a cold but it is sometime worse than that, I just like to pretend I have never had the flu).
Did I mention that I am a strange person??

It was passed the interview, will get back to you when we've got your references so am wondering if my referees are taking their time over getting back to them, but both of them know I'm unemployed and desperate to get back in to work so can't see them intentionally dragging their feet. Or for some reason I've a 'bad' reference scaring the agency, but I can't imagine how that could have happened given I left both employers on good terms.
I've been taking lemsip capsules, one cap at a time when I've been feeling grottiest as I hate taking medication unless I absolutely have to.
The last thing I need is a hot water bottle, Dad decided this evening we needed to check the heating is working my bed is against the radiator so I'm roasting now I'm tucked up again, I do have my giant cuddly Bruce to snuggle up with tonight though. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.
