Todays day off is going to involve three mystery shops in two different towns, just hoping that the rain lets up somewhat so I'm not doing my best drowned rat look throughout.

Hey, sometimes that's a good look to have.

All you need is the right kind of T-shirt...

    Enjoy your shopping.

Not dead yet. Feeling like it though.

£8 in to paypal from surveys. Still waiting for the £40 from onepoll.

Is it not getting easier by now?

I'm getting to grips with the actual work - lets face it prep'ing sandwiches isn't hard, nor is the paper work, but am having problems staff wise, so far there hasn't been a single time I'm meant to have had a day off when I've not had two or three phone calls about stuff which is fairly unimportant. I've also been doing too many hours lone working thanks to people being unreliable and inflexible about covering shifts. Am pretty sure I won't be stay in the job too much longer, going to call the agency next week and ask them to keep me in mind if any permanent roles come to them, and starting to think about applying for Christmas temp stuff elsewhere since its the right time of year for it.

In money news have withdrawn £20 to my bank account from paypal.

Updated my CV and uploaded the new version to a few recruitment sites.

That is usually the problem with management - the staff. I'm fortunate in that my staff range from fairly conscientious to brill (even if two of them are extremely opinionated). It seems you don't have that good fortune.

    It is indeed.

Three missed calls from work, no messages left so I assumed it wasn't important. Shortly after a text from someone who was on a days holiday today warning me about a message thats been left for me in the office.

Knowing who left the message means its one of two 'issues' both of which without splitting myself in two could have been resolved when I was in work on Friday as there simply wasn't the time.

Need any staff? no qualification for whatever it is you do, but willing to work hard and learn.;)

If my restructure goes badly, I may need to come to you for a job... ;)

Nope that's not likely to happen - you'd not cope with a 16 hour working week on minimum wage.

Just had an email and I've got my payslip via the online system, tis good to see that I'll get paid for the work done so far.

And there's no reason why not.
