Blankety blank could be fun, the word was b itching (assuming the filter lets it be seen). It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

The filter is there to stop our fragile little minds from being corrupted.

According to the manager training me it is, I however fear that my internal 'busy meter' will need severely recalibrating. :eek:It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

No, that's good. It means you're less likely to be stressed.
Especially considering this is not your final destination - will that be busier?"Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

That is in my unit....
Still I have plenty to keep me occupied for now, can worry about customers or the comparative lack thereof at a later date. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Wait for the cold weather. That brings in people wanting hot drinks..."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

We had to go to the unit I'll be managing on Wednesday to do the week end close downs, was there again today with my training manager and tomorrow I'll be there alone as she needs to be back at her place and I feel comfortable enough with the work to be there with the other staff I've got in - although I'll likely be phoning at closing time for her to talk me through the shutdowns.
In other stuff, got a couple of mystery shops booked this weekend and am 5p away from cashing out on onepoll. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Still 5p from cashing out on onepoll - todays surveys all wanted people with kids or those not single.
Also had my last payment from the temp agency - just short of £300 which will be the hours I accrued as holiday (that agency pays it as holiday pay rather than rolling it in to the hourly rate as some seem to).
So no more money due in now until the 1st September when I ought to get my first salary payment.
I'll hold off on paying off another chunk of credit card until towards the middle of the month when I'm getting a better idea of my travel costs to work, at the moment am thinking it'll be roughly £100 as long as I resist the temptation to drive the prettier longer route every day!
Busier at work today which was slightly annoying since one person called in sick and we had deliveries to play tetris with in the fridges and freezers. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Work is going mostly OK, finding some things really tough, others not so bad although tomorrow will be a real test when I have to close the weeks banking with noone giving me instructions!
In money saving/making there isn't much happening, spent £6 on another black top for work this evening, still looking for another survey on onepoll which isn't wanting me to be a coupled up parent.
Suspect I'll have the petrol light on my car coming on at some point tomorrow, I put £20 in on Thursday morning so assuming it does that pretty much matches what I expected to be spending a week on fuel (£20-£25), although I have also been driving the slightly longer route home in the evenings to avoid the only section which has traffic on it.It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

How did it go with someone giving instructions?scubaangel wrote: »In money saving/making there isn't much happening, spent £6 on another black top for work this evening, still looking for another survey on onepoll which isn't wanting me to be a coupled up parent.
Perhaps it's a new financial incentive scheme by the Government...scubaangel wrote: »Suspect I'll have the petrol light on my car coming on at some point tomorrow, I put £20 in on Thursday morning so assuming it does that pretty much matches what I expected to be spending a week on fuel (£20-£25), although I have also been driving the slightly longer route home in the evenings to avoid the only section which has traffic on it.
