Stop reminding me of the things I might have to worry about then. :p

When do you start your new job?

I take it you're leaving this one on Thursday evening? ;)

All being well I start in 2 weeks, this week at my current place, then flying to Tenerife on Friday, flying back next Friday and headed up to Scotland for the weekend.

Need to check exactly where the unit is that I'll be training in so I can work out the best way to travel there - am hoping that getting the train will be practical as the town is roughly a 40 minute drive when there's no traffic and at rush hour it'll be horrendous.

Looks like the training site is about a 45 minute train ride away which will be infinately easier than the 45 minute drive would be, so hve priced up the weekly train ticket £27 which is probably slightly more than it would cost in petrol.

Had a fairly short chat with my Dad this evening, he's pretty much told me he'd prefer me not to move out in to a rented house when I could be saving the equivalent in rent and bills towards buying somewhere. I think that one will be a case of see how close we are to killing each other in another few months time.....

Also up to £38.15 in onepoll.

Don't forget that a 45 minute car journey takes about 1h30 in rush hour. And although petrol may cost slightly less, you're also not wearing your car out, and you're mitigating the risk of those with a slightly less than functioning brain smacking into your car.

That's the practical aspects vs the other practical aspects... :rotfl:
