This is planning in our world its 13 days before the flight!

Now you see, planning in my world would consist of:
    • Deciding there were going to be three going
    • Ask the third one about their schedule
    • Then book the holiday for some convenient date for all after finding out

Or was this a lastminute.com deal?

Well there are a few issues with that process.

    There are four of us.

Mum and my Aunt already booked their flights weeks ago.

Mum phoned my sister and I, last night as they'd found cheap flights for the same rough week.

Yes, that's an "ideal" process. Obviously I don't have *all* the information... :p

    Process still holds... :p

So your step-dad is paying, but he's not going? There's going to be some partying in that house - when the cat's away and all that... :rotfl: ;)

So you're not all going together?

My sister and I fly out the night before Mum and Aunt and back the day before.

Now I need to find a hand luggage size suitcase - I rarely fill one but have bought a few new things to take out to leave in the apartment which are too big for my teeny tiny suitcase, plus as there are all four of us travelling on handluggage the case I usually borrow from Mum is already spoken for.

Means you get to put the kettle on for them.

I don't know if you have an "original factory shop" near you? They normally have a selection of cases from the cheap to the not so cheap.

Not that I can think of but there are plenty of shops I can visit on my lunch breaks this week, and I think Tesco have their luggage promotion on at the moment.

Is the job going any better/different?

That's kind of made me smile. Just wondering how they promote luggage.

It's going. Feel like my brain is now switched off while I'm there most of the time now I'm used to everything I need to be doing.

That's not a good way to be in a job. Your brain is like a muscle - it needs exercise or it gets flabby.

Yup and given I've mostly been too tired/lazy to run and swim as often as I was doing before I started work again my body is getting flabby again. :o

So my challenge for the next two weeks is to actually get back in to the habit of exersizing, and job hunting properly again.

The exersizing may very well take the shape of dragging my Dad out for a walk round the reservior some evenings instead of running it but at least I'll be gettin us both off our backsides.
