Nah the theory is that we wont be drinking as "my" Canadian is still on a variety of pain killers for her damaged wrist, but they've also been invited up to see another friend on the Saturday night so might only be at Dad's house with me over night Friday - if thats the case I'm going to head over to Salford to see about booking a couple of coached open water swim sessions before the swim in two weeks time.It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

The Canadians have been and gone, the Color Run was awesome. I got home to find that more of the blue paint had gone down my top than on it.
Didn't get up to Salford Quays as I looked on facebook and found they'd a big event full of Brownies on site all day and didn't want to face children!It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Well plans to swim have changed.
Mum phoned me at midnight asking if I wanted to go to Tenerife for a week entirely paid for by her and my Step Dad, so I now fly out the night before I would have been doing the swim and back a week later.
The plan now is to phone the Great Swims organisers and see if I can transfer my registration to another swim this year or to one next year.It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.
