They record both, the meal given and the quantity consumed. We tend to believe their record as from experience this is a woman who will ask for 'just a little bit' be given a portion the same as that given to my step dad, clear her plate and then ask why dessert is so small when the rest of us feel sick from over eating.....

Equally she asked me twice tonight if I was her second daughters child or an imposter. So asking her to remember what she ate if anything is challenging at the moment, but then her memory does tend to be worse after they've had to shock her. Hopefully tomorrow she'll have that back at least.

Well at least you look enough like her second daughter's child to even be considered a candidate for imposting... ;)

    Shock her?

She's in a cardiac ward, and is having episodes of arrhythmia, so they have to shock her to try to slow her heart rate down. The after effects of these episodes are short and medium term memory loss, she for the most part knows she knows people but can't recall their names - she has no idea who my Dad is but knows my Mums first husband is the father of her children not my step dad. However she thinks Mums second wedding was a lovely day - My mum to the best of my knowledge has not married my step dad as they both went through fairly hard divorces before getting together, and married my father long before the second wedding happened in her mind.

She also keeps asking me when I'm going to behave like a good young girl and marry some nice young man. Unfortunately for her I strongly suspect even if she survives this hospital stay she won't be stubborn enough to live long enough to see me marry (never mind to a nice young man).

Today I have managed to request a $10 cash out from an app on my phone, taken me a few months of watching short videos on the app but at 1c a video I figured it was worth keep chipping away since the longest was 30 seconds and I only do it on wifi. Will see how long it takes for it to reach my paypal account.

Also should be hitting my target amount on swagbucks to cash out another £25 in to the paypal account so I can get a head start on next months sofa payment. :D

    Like a defibrillator?

At 1 cent per 30 seconds, that's only $1.20 per hour...

Yup she has the patches permanently fixed to her at the moment hopefully they'll be able to take them off if she doesnt have another episode in the next day or so.

    Both. :D

I know its a shocking hourly rate but it's costing me nothing and I usually run the app while I'm doing similarly poorly paid stuff on the lappy (like SBTV) am taking full advantage of Dad's unlimited internet!

That'll be better. Both for her and family.

I'm sure there's someone out there who'll light your fire.

    Though probably not while diving...

Well I suppose it's keeping you off the streets. And out of the rain.

More like super sticky patches, which if they fall off the staff immediately reapply.

I'm sure there is, but not right now.

I was going to run this afternoon, got changed went down stairs and heard the thunder so got changed again and gave up on the idea. :D

Yup we really don't need another family member experiencing jolts from electricity!

Happily Nana has been moved again, she's back on the less specialist ward as they had some emergency cases in, needed the bed and she's stable and only needing monitoring for the time being.

Mum and step Dad are home from their holiday, dropped them off at the home about an hour ago and am now thinking about packing for my own trip back south tomorrow.

Took a slight detour past Asda on the way to get them to check the fuel prices so unless the Morrisons garage in the village is less than 126.7p I'll be filling up there tomorrow morning.
