What conditioner should I use for co-washing?

I have become a bit fussy about ingredients, both food and otherwise.
I am finding it hard to get away from this one but you need a lot for co washing. £9 for a 1000ml, I tried it and its great and I guess I can try diluting it before washing with it.
Aqua, Cetyl alcohol, Cetrimonium chloride, Cocos nucifera (Coconut) kernel oil, Glyceryl stearate S/E, Phenoxyethanol & Ethylhexylglycerin, Citric acid, Tocopherol (Vitamin E)

I used a low poo shampoo the other day, my hair felt like straw until I put conditioner on, not used to that at all!0

What did you use? What is your hair type.....might help others avoid the product if they have a similar hair type, or steer you towards something suitable if they have a similar hair type.
I'm just finishing my last bottle of WEN and deciding to go back to 'proper' co washing with high street conditioners.....
Just cannot decide what to buy this time.....0 -

It was Aussie Miracle Moist shampoo, usually use cheapo Asda conditioner and a morrisons or a superdrug one, cone free of course!
No idea on hair type yet 2a or b, been trying to join the British Curlies forum but haven't recived my activation email (4 weeks ago:mad:)0 -
I have waist length, very thick coarse and curly hair and want to try co washing my hair
Do you wash you hair with conditioner then conditioner again leave on a few minutes and wash out or just wash with conditioner and that is it?
thanks0 -

I wash my hair first with Timotei conditioner (recommended at the start of the thread) then dollop on some more conditioner and leave it for a few minutes before washing it out. It seems to be working for me but I'm still experimenting just now so my method might change.0 -

More or less. Some advocate leaving the first conditioner for about twenty minutes. My bathroom is too cold for that. Every now and then I deep condition overnight.0 -
I tried co-washing for the first time last night after reading this thread. I have a huge bottle of Tresume conditioner that I don't use so tried it with that to save it going to waste.
My hair is awful this morning, feels really greasy. I guess I'll have to buy one of the recommended conditioners to give it a fair try.
My hair is very long and very thick, too straight to get any curl to it but too wavy to get it properly straight so anything that can help me manage it can only be a good thing.0 -
I noticed Morrisons has got 500ml of conditioner for24pence.
But it has the Mi preservative in it which I'm trying to avoid. The asda one doesn't have it in so can't wait to try it.0
