    Trixie what have you been doing with your leave? Playing with the baby and planning your next frugal plan of attack? :D Well done!
    Day 15

    Call it well done but actually I have been scouting for cheap sales for Christmas gifts. Me and my little boy are going to the Philippines to visit my family. I spend some but comparing it to previous years, I would've thrown 3 times the price of what I bought now. I used to give everyone a gift (literally all people I know) but now I am limiting it to just my family. Relatives will get a bag of goodies. No more, no less. So proud of myself for learning this. :j

    I realize that frugal life means being wise. Thanks to you all.

    LUNCH for today - I am going to cook something that will use lots of tomatoes before it gets to the bin. Tomatoes with pork and some anchovies - Philippines dish.:D
    Salary Loan: $16,737.42; $ 14,099.64
    Credit Card1: $6,200.73;
    $ 4,846.11; $1,808.21
    Credit Card2: €1,357.07;
    € 365.97
    Sibling Loan: €2,066.77/$1,150.00 --- Friend Loan:
    €3000,00 - PAID ---Fiance Loan: €5000,00

    Mission: To SAVE money but pay debts first. update as of: 13-11-2014
  • Hi All

    Day 16/19 for me. Yogurt and cereal bar for breakfast. Ended up having leftover Haggis, bean & potato pie for lunch.

    I sliced up my roast pork joint last night and i'm planning to leave 2 portions aside for a roast dinner and make up sandwiches with the rest to freeze ahead.

    KittieJ I have a vague idea about how much I think I've saved but cant wait till the end of the month to confirm. I will definitely be doing this challenge again next month as it has made a huge difference. :j

    I think I will keep a proper note of my NSD's as well as if I do well with this I might do that properly in November. I am hoping if I make one small change at a time it will be easier to maintain them in the long run. :D
  • Another 2 days in the bag even if it was back to cheese salad sandwiches and fruit!
