I agree.
They are only being up in the air about it as the person they are after or with is non committal, I expect.0 -
It could mean 'I'm bored but don't want to upset you further'
I could never give a reason for ending a relationship as I never knew why I'd lost interest and I'm a girl!Currently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck

Fixed that one for you......dandelionclock30 wrote: »They have got someone elce, the only thing you can do is move on and find someone better. If its a guy in my experience men do not leave partners to be single when they are getting sex, washing done, their tea cooked etc. It has to be for a better offer otherwize they just stick it out. Other people may think differently, but thats what I've seen.
Its not odd at all, hes just telling you hes off without saying hes shagging another woman.
Sex, yes, but I've never been the only one to cook or wash clothes, OH does his fair share, too!...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
I love you but I don't feel the same anymore
not able to explain what has changed, but just dont feel the same?
anyone.... seems a rubbish saying, with no explanation
then when asked if they want the relationship to end, and if that is what the want, to say I am not sure of anything......
very odd!!!
If they don't, you do.
Unfortunately I have to agree with the conclusions above. . .I did not speak out
Then they came for me
And there was no one left
To speak out for me..

I agree with the others, it means "I want out". But I'm also going to be my usual nitpicky self...seems a rubbish saying, with no explanation
There's a small chance it's just maybe-the-grass-is-greener dithering, but in that case the person will change his (her?) mind quick sharp if you treat it like the break-up it's 99% likely to be: stop calling, block on social media, and purchase sufficient ice cream, tissues and DVD box sets for any necessary wallowing.0 -
Was he drunk?0

It can also mean that he loves you but he's no longer in love with you.
Sometimes people just fall out of love, without sleeping with someone else.0 -
Agree with everyone. He wants out.
But he still has affection for you, like for a sister. He's fond of you from your history together but doesn't want to stay with you and is trying not to hurt you.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Any more posts you want to make on something you obviously know very little about?"
Is an actual reaction to my posts, so please don't rely on anything I say.0 -
When my wife said it, it actually meant " I love you because of all our shared history, but I'm so !!!!!!! stressed with work and kids and my health and your moodiness, that I'm wondering how to make it all better "
I thought she meant "I hate you, because I've spent 20 years attempting to change your personality, but I've realised you'll never be the person I want to be, and I'd rather you were the person you used to be, than the person I've turned you into"
All better now though. I think the last time she said anything relating to our relationship, she said "I'd die if anything happened to you, I love you so much"0
