Another long list! I do quite like a list myself but mine are usually a lot shorter than yours
When I get to work, I write a list of admin things I want to get done that day (aswell as do my actual clinical job). But I always add "eat lunch" and "go to the loo" on my list so if I'm too busy to get any admin done, I'll at least have achieved going to the loo and eating lunch (not usually at the same time) :rotfl::o
Its a bit of a psychological boost and seems to work for meDebt Apr 15 - £6895.44Apr 17 - £2500
Dec 17 - £560
July 18 - £199

Love it - will try that next time then maybe I won't need to add any real stuff :rotfl:
The lists really keep me focused - particularly when I put them on here. I think it's only because we are moving that they are so long - time will tell

morning all,
I was so busy yesterday that I didn't get a chance to post.
30 boxes arrived yesterday :j:j:j 20 packed already so I need to order some more - I think my estimate of 60 may fall short as I didn't think about the garage so I'm going for 80 - strange to think that I can count 45 years of life in boxes.
I managed to finish off deep cleaning the kitchen yesterday - just need to check on top of the cupboards and a couple of drawers. It was a fairly big job as me and DH tend to live in the kitchen as we have a dining area there and also a lounging area where we spend our evenings. So glad that is done, just the essentials left in the cupboards now.
Spendwise was going well for me until DH managed to reverse the car into a post as he was reversing out the drive - that's £148 for a new rear light which he is going to fit himself  - There's no point being cross - glad it was him not me :rotfl: We do have a car budget so it will come out of that although I think there will be a shortfall at the end of the year as the Jeep needs new tires and a new battery at the very least but I will cross that bridge when it comes at the end of October.
I still have 2 weeks until pay day when I can reconcile my accounts and move money into the savings account. Things are starting to look tight on the budget front so I will have to aim for ensuring the food and petrol costs don't eat into it. Saying that I promised DH that we would go out for dinner tonight, something we don't do often but I used it as a compromise as I was meant to go into London with him last night but I wanted to do some more packing.
Taking DS to a friend's sleepover today so need to get a present for him as its his friend's birthday (comes out of the birthday budget) and also need to get DS some rugby boots and gum shield which come out of the kids budget. I need to check this budget as it runs with the school year and I need to check I haven't overspent for this year just gone. Although I think setting up pots/accounts for certain spends is a good idea I do think that I am less inclined to hunt for a bargain as I know there is money in the account - I do need to look into this as it would be nice to have some money left in them at the end of the year that I can move into the savings accounts.
I have promised that I will spend tomorrow sat on the sofaso I need to make sure I get as much as I can done today.
To Do List- [STRIKE]bedding washing weekend -I have to wash 5 double sets of bedding every other weekend. It's the putting them back that I hate [/STRIKE]:(
- drawers and top of cupboards in the kitchen tackled DS's room instead
- [STRIKE]DS to friend's and get pressie[/STRIKE]
- ID and tenancy agreement to letting agency ID taken in agreement to be taken in on monday
- [STRIKE]Pack up as much of DD's room[/STRIKE]done
- [STRIKE]washing -non beddings stuff[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]finish off packing up everything I moved into the spare room[/STRIKE]
- Buy rugby boots, [STRIKE]gum shield and sports socks[/STRIKE]rugby boots will have to wait till next wkend -they were £70 in the local shop
- [STRIKE]Out to dinner with DH [/STRIKE]:)ended up getting a takeaway so we could have a drink
Best get to it - coffee first :rotfl:

We were too busy thinking of more important things. Like what happens to the woolly hats people are knitting for Innocent Smoothie bottles etc.
