Good luck again with the list.
I suppose your meal plan should be using stuff up you have in the house before the move?

Indeed - 5 kilos of chicken, 2 roast chickens, one pork joint, approx 6 kilos mince and a couple of tins of corned beef and a partridge in a pear tree :rotfl:
Off to work out what to do with the above

Up early to tackle the Mount Everest of Ironing
We took the kids to see the house yesterday - and all went well. I do need to email the letting agency to let them know that the showers on not fit for purpose - with 5 and sometimes 6 in the house all wanting showers the dribble that comes out of them is just not going to work - for me the shower is one the things that is really important.
DH and I have agreed that we will offer to pay for the purchase of the showers (ideally power showers - though the water pressure is very poor) if the landlord will pay for the fitting - hope that works. We would like to stay in the house for a minimum of 4 years and max of 6. It does mean another cost to us but it will be worth it as long as the landlord will meet us half way.
It's so nice to have the kids back but boy do they make a mess. My day just seems to go now as I'm either taxiing, cooking, washing or cleaning up after them - doesn't leave a lot of time to sort the house out - and only 3 and a 1/2 weeks till we move  ahh well back to school next week:j
I need to work out all the extra costs that we are going to have over the next month as they are coming in thick and fast and I have no budget to allocate them to and not a lot of room to move budgets around. I will have to reassess the budgets pots at the end of the year, despite carefully allocating them there have been so many things that I have had to pay for that just don't seem to fit in - maybe I just need to increase my £150 monthly contingency budget.
To Do List:- [STRIKE]tackle ironing[/STRIKE]where did those 3 loads of washing appear from - surely not the kids:eek:
- [STRIKE]£40 shop for £5 voucher Mr T - only two days to go. We've run out of biscuits of wheat so I think I'll do a bulk purchase of those today[/STRIKE]:rotfl:
- complete on-line enrollment for DS course
- [STRIKE]finish online form for letting now that x has done his bit (bit naughty coz they sent it to me and now I know exactly what he earns[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]ID and proof of address forms to letting agent[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]email letting agent re showers[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE][STRIKE]clean out fridge[/STRIKE][/STRIKE]deep clean done so hopefully just a wipe down when we move
- [STRIKE]start on clearing out spare room now that bed has been sold as I want to use this room to put all the boxes[/STRIKE]
- chase quote for removal
- [STRIKE]clear out a couple more kitchen cupboa rds[/STRIKE]all finished :T
- menu plan
- [STRIKE]move £1000 into and out of flexiaccount to get my £8 interest[/STRIKE]:j
- [STRIKE]if i get through all of that - then pour myself a large glass of wine[/STRIKE]:D
so coffee it is then :rotfl:
Enjoy your MS weekend guys xGoal:to save £16,000 by 30/09/2019 claw back rental costs

Lazy day today for me. DSS1came over last night and is going to cook Sunday lunch (he used to be a chef
) Managed to tackle a fair few bits on my list yesterday - but still no menu plan
perhaps that will be my task for today.
Didn't get around to chasing up the removal quote either - really need to do that tomorrow as desperately in need of boxes to start tackling the packing. All the stuff that I sorted out in the kitchen yesterday is now sat in the spare room ready for packing. There wasn't much to get rid of as I'm not really a hoarder, tho saying that I do have a T£sco £xpress worth of food and cleaning stuff to move - maybe I could set up my own shop:)
Last day to collect my £5 voucher from Mr T today - that should give me £25 next week towards the flat fund as long as I manage to spend 5 lots of £40 - need to plan that carefully and do a comparison of prices to make sure what I buy isn't cheaper anywhere else. I normally get the store cupboard basics or things that are on offer.
To Do list:- [STRIKE]Ironing pile[/STRIKE]
- DS enrolment form
- [STRIKE]Menu plan[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]£40 Mr T shop[/STRIKE]
- Update budget accounts
- [STRIKE]Finish cleaning spare room[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]Sit on the sofa and subscribe to some diaries:)[/STRIKE]
Happy Sunday
