Our local NHS dentist practice - Eclipse Dental Studio, Lee on the Solent, Hants - insists on using an 0844 number as a "service" to it's customers! Even after many complaints it is still refusing to offer a landline!

Yes, I did say they were the costs from BT landlines didn't I?

For anyone that isn't already aware, callls from other networks may vary, and from mobiles will cost considerably more.

Something to bear in mind before deciding to ditch and switch away from BT

Giff gaff mobile offers free calls to all 0800 numbers.

As Giff gaff is on of the cheapest networks anyhow, Im suprised it didnt get a mention.

Free phone numbers (starting 0800, 0808 & 0500)

Don't do 0844 you have to pay 12p a min

i have a gg number had it for over a year.

Have you tried asking on Say No 0870 if anybody knows it.
