  • Hi, sorry been so quiet lately but we have been so very busy and things are only just returning to normal (whatever normal is!)

NSD or me today which takes me to 10 for October and that was my target for the month so I am pleased :)

Hubby is still loving the job and racking up the overtime so that's a definite bonus!

Hectic evening planned preparing for my second job so have to dash, that's still going strong and I'm getting lots of Christmas orders :)

    Stay positive!

  • Hi all

Taking 10 minutes out of my more than hectic schedule to pop in and say a hello :hello:

It's been so busy lately with both jobs that I haven't had much time to come on to the forum but hopefully settling now so that I can get back to my usual daily updates. Had been waiting for a payment and that came through yesterday so banked it and paid £1000 to credit card and some towards my savings pot today. (added these as my PAD)

Awaiting pay day so that I can pay the final bit towards the PS4 - it will be a relief that I can just go and purchase that without worrying about where the money's coming from!

Had a 4-week holding letter on my PPI complaint, that was at the end of last week so should hopefully hear by the start of December. I know it won't be a lot as it was only a small storecard and not a big loan or credit card but every little helps!

The payment coming in helps get me back on track for my October DFD which I am over the moon about :T I was so set on being debt free by then that when the boiler packed in it really knocked me. I'm most definitely a planner!

Today is a NSD for me, home-made lunch and breakfast and for once we have plenty of food to choose from in the fridge/freezer/cupboard so I will be spoilt for choice come tea-time tonight! This takes my NSD to 11 for October which isn't so bad, and tomorrow will most likely be a NSD too in anticipation of a Thursday pay day!

Still staying positive, off for a swim tonight and then to visit family so no spending there :)

If only this weather would sort itself out...?!

    Much love

  • Just a little update, PAD of £2 today made to credit card, off out for tea tonight and I need fuel so not a NSD even if hubby treats me to the meal!

I am still very positive and spurred on by my PAD yesterday, loving life at the moment but always suspicious that I have a fall ahead of me when it's like this...

Pay day arrives tomorrow so the PAD's will increase in value and I have volunteered to do the daily count up which should help keep me focused!

    TTFN... keep smiling!

  • Hi sweetie.

Glad you are still feeling positive and what a fantastic PAD yesterday. You are a real trooper. Really glad that the October date is still doable even after the boiler etc.

Ps4 is sorted too - fantastic. When is the release date? Will you be able to keep it until Christmas ? I'm terrible for giving presents, hopeless at keeping silly secrets too.

    A xx

  • Thanks honey, there are days where I don't feel such a trooper haha! Onwards and upwards I say, true to my namesake I will push in to next October!

It could be even sooner if the PPI comes back too :D

PS4 is released at the end of November and it's absolutely staying in the box until Christmas Eve at the very earliest!

    I'm positive about THAT! ;)

  • Hello!

Yes the PS4 fund is ready, just hope the price they quoted is still the same come launch day :/

It all remains to be seen, today has been a spendy day, got some Christmas presents and did the weekly shopping... Tomorrow is a housework day though so I'm guessing this will be spend free haha!

PAD this morning made to emergency fund of £10.

Still feeling very positive and loving life right now :T
