Thanks darls, I had a chat with myself this morning and I feel better, paid the last payment on the holiday today so that's it... We are definitely going on our jollies come January :T
PAD today was a bit to savings, made me feel a bit better too. Tomorrow more money goes to the PS4 fund which leaves me very little left to pay hurrah!
And so the positivity returns
Today would have been a NSD for me if I hadn't have had to pay the final holiday payment... Glad it's done though and we can look forward to it.
After work me and DH went for a lovely swim and jacuzzi, felt better than another evening in front of the telly. Got some more orders for my second job today too, will pop those through at the weekend.
Thanks for your support

Well a really fab day for me and a NSD too. It's been busy busy busy at work again but this week is flying by.
Really starting to feel positive again and realise the boiler issue is just a minor set back
Looking forward to the weekend where I have nothing planned so everything I do will be at my pace!

Glad you're feeling brighter and much more positive again. The boiler is a small issue and not enough to send you off course.

Back to my lunch time updates, however I have a really busy day so this can only be a quick one!
Made a PAD to credit card this morning of £1.04 but my lovely wonderful tracker spreadsheet has managed to get corrupted! I last backed up in August so I have had to use this one and catch up. Gutted, I think it's because my laptop is on it's last legs...
We have the plumber coming to assess the boiler situation tonight, I'm hoping he doesn't say we need any additional fixtures or fittings, pipework etc as that will push the price up.
Will keep you all posted of the progress I'm sure! I like to share my misery as much as my positivity haha :rotfl:
Today will be another NSD for me so I am doing OK, I knew there would be less of them in October as I have had so much going on with the dog and the car, but I am aiming for 10 across the month.
Down graded my phone tariff today from £34 a month to £16 sim only. When I have replenished my savings I will buy a new handset but for now, mine works fine (knock on wood) and I also have a company mobile I can fall back on in desperate times!
That's all for now people, stay positive!

Hi hunny.
Hope the plumber had good news for you and that there's no more expense?
Well done with your change of tariff - good saving. Won't be long until you save up again and a new shiny phone.

Yep, plumber says it will be no more than £1400 so should be ok (phew!) I was able to change my tariff on 8th October but was distracted and forgot! They've done it from today so that should be good
Other than that, things are just normal... Plodding along as always. I have the afternoon off tomorrow so may take advantage and get the food shopping done whilst it's quiet and before hubby gets back from work. This will leave Friday evening and all of Saturday free together before he works overtime on Sunday.

Really really pleased that the bill is no more than expected. That must be a huge relief. Once that's sorted you can start looking forward to Christmas and your holiday.
Friday afternoon off is always good, it's good to get the jobs done so it's quality time at the weekend.
Hope hubby is still enjoying back at work.

Well I am home early on my afternoon off... Not spent anything yet today but will have to go and do the food shop so it's definitely not a NSD for me
Still feeling positive and had more orders for my second job today which has cheered me up :T
PAD to credit card this morning of £5 as the balance was already harmonised and I probably won't get on this weekend so that should see me to Monday
Hope everyone has a lovely weekend! I intend to

Well, yesterday turned out to be a NSD after all... As is today! Food shopping will be done tomorrow whilst hubby is at work. So I'm now up to 6 NSD's for October so far
No pad today. I need to really tighten my belt for the boiler payment so just padding on weekdays for October, car tax due at end of month so I need to be careful...
Aside from the shopping, tomorrow is a cleaning day so plenty to do!

Happy lunchtime:j
Another home made lunch today which saves pounds and lbs! It also prevents me from going to the shops and spending money at lunch time.
Yesterday's food shop was rather large but I have enough food for well over a week so I am pleased with that, managed to save £1.87 on the price promise thing too so can't be too bad!
It felt strange not PADding on the weekend, I may have to bring it back, even if it's a £1 a day it still counts!
The boiler is being fitted next week, the plumber couldn't fit us in any sooner and he had to jiggle some jobs around to get us in that quickly. I guess this is the time of year when plumbers get really busy, I'm certain it's not just my boiler on the blink.
Dinner tonight is a lovely soup which needs using by today, I really need to get around to making my own soups as I'm sure I could make them truly delicious!
As you can see I am well and truly back in positive mode, counting down to holiday (80 days in case you were wondering) and really looking forward to Christmas this year. I know we have halloween and bonfire night first but Christmas is so much better than anything else, even birthdays
PS4 fund is almost complete with the final payment to be made when I get paid at the end of October.
Home alone this evening, might get some items on eBay, that always make the time pass quickly! I could also do with having a sort out of my drawers as I'm certain I don't need half the stuff I hoard away! Will let you know my progress, parting with stuff always seems so hard to do despite my best intentions :rotfl:
Have a lovely (if rainy) day!
