If you have a B00ts nearby, they have an own brand night nurse thing that is half the price and just as good.

  • Hi all

I am feeling much better now back at work, perhaps it's true why they say that stress keeps germs away!

Really busy day at work today, no lunch break as in all day meetings but didn't have to buy lunch as it was provided :) it isn't a no spend day though as I am going to the quiz again with mum! Hubby is working nights this week so it saves me staying in and mooching... PLUS she will make me a packed lunch for tomorrow so I can't complain :D

A few spendy days with vets bills and car being a pain. I know I need to look at getting a new one with the length of my commute but I just can't at the moment. I don't want to extend my dfd any further than next October. In fact October 1st 2014 so a year today!

I don't think there will be able to overpay much this month as there are so many other commitments but I will be trying!

£5 PAD today to post office savings account, not much but every bit counts.

Hope you are all well, despite a tight month I am still positive, I've even been singing today :)

    LMD x

  • Glad you are feeling tonnes better and that you have a great time at the quiz.

Hope the vets and car aren't as expensive as you expect.

Count down to debt free really it's not that many pay days until next October.

    A xx

  • Soooo....

Hubby took the car in this morning or the MOT. (Drum roll please...) some bulbs need replacing and some kind of joint cover is worn but they can do the work for £45 on Saturday! I thought it was going to be more like £450 to get it through so I am VERY relieved! Hubby paid for the MOT too so today is actually a NSD for me ;)

So, my savings live to see another day, only marginally dented by the dog spaying which when she has had follow up appointments and stitches out will be about £200. I can live with that.

Work is super-busy at the moment so days are flying by, Christmas will soon be here!

All is going well in my second job and the orders continue to come in, I have another party on Friday so I'm hoping that goes well.

Today has been very positive indeed

    Hope you are all well

  • A late update from me but worked through lunch as had a follow up appointment at the vets, have to go back on Monday too :(

Home made lunch was lovely and saved me a few pounds again, wasn't a NSD though due to vets and I had to fill up with petrol.

PAD made this morning of £448.68 for the loan payment, only 5 more to make and then can start hammering the cc balances.

Fighting the urge to go on a splurge and I think it's because I feel like I have saved money on the car MOT... I need to log in to my savings account and appreciate my balances I think!

    Have a good evening
