Hi all!
Sorry I've not been online, it's been a hectic weekend. Quite spendy too as we have booked a holiday for January which I'm really excited about. We found avoid deal and the price started creeping up so we figured we should get it booked.
This afternoon we took my nephews to a local farm park, had such fun in the sunshine but I'm shattered now... Glad we get to hand them back at the end of the day!
Due to paying the deposit for the holiday I think this week will need to be full of NSD's - wish me luck!

Congratulations on finding a good deal on your holiday. If anyone can do a week of NSDs it's you, especially if you have a reason.
Enjoy your chill time xxSave £12k in 2014 #080 £0/£8,000.

Thanks, it was £200 deposit for us both which I have transferred out of my savings. Hubby gets paid weekly so we can put the test aside from that and my Sept pay
I think it will give me the extra push I need to keep the number of NSD's high
Hope you're having a great day!

I shall quite happily join you. If last week was anything to go by we can achieve what ever we set our sights on.
Isn't it nice having savings and not automatically thinking it will have to go on the plastic xxSave £12k in 2014 #080 £0/£8,000.

Hello!
It's home mead lunch time again, another twist on the sandwich filling as I have added coleslaw to the ham today! Living life dangerously....
Today is a NSD, hoping to have 5 this week so wish me luck! We should be ok as we have enough food in for the week and nothing planned.
PAD made this morning by rounding down the ever diminishing bank balance... Awaiting pay day again!
Off swimming tonight and hopefully hubby will be coming with me as he's well on his way to being fully recovered now
A hectic work week ahead so may be a few lunch time updates missing but I will try my best! PPI claim form has now been submitted so I'm awaiting their response with baited breath... See what comes of that!
Party tomorrow night for my second job, hoping its nice and busy and that I don't make any mistakes haha!
Have to dash... Much to do!

A quick lunchtime update from me today, ham and coleslaw seems to be my flavour of the week so far! haha...
I was hoping to have a NSD today but after my second job party tonight I have said I will do the pub quiz with my mum. Will be nice as I don't spend a lot of time with her but it will mean I spend some money - not a lot but it's there. Hopefully the party will result in high sales and it will make up for it!
I have had another few orders for the second job so things are going OK, I mainly do it as I enjoy it, not necessarily for the money so I think I am going to save all the money I make between now and the end of the year and put it towards the holiday spending fund. This will keep me motivated!
On a personal note we have had some positive news today so I'm feeling great about that. It means we can re-focus some of our energy into moving forwards and building our future.
Starting to feel a bit guilty about having the dog spayed... she was romping about in the garden this morning and I was thinking that this time next week she will be post-op and will probably hate meHopefully it won't last! The last thing I want is a litter of puppies to feed :rotfl:
Counted up the PS4 fund last night and its at £270 so only another £80 to go - I'm so pleased I have put money aside for it so it wont impact on the rest of Christmas. In the past when hubby was working we had a tendency to go overboard at Christmas, but having spent the last few years on just my income we have had to cut right back. I'm hoping that we continue as we have been, a few quality gifts rather than loads of stuff people have no room for!
PAD was made as always this morning... just a round down of £1.02 to credit card. It's getting close to pay day (Monday) so I will only be making little PADs until then.
Hubby has volunteered for overtime at work this Saturday which is great as its time and a half... he can start his own spendo-savings pot! :T
Things for me as you can probably see are still very positive, I don't think I have been as frugal as I could have been over the past month (compared to July and August) as we have had some spendy weekends but I have enjoyed these very much! Time to settle back to MSE ways and get the balance of the holiday paid for!
Catch you all soon... I started this by saying it would be 'quick'!
