After a year of Flying, I have just spent 25 mins scrubbing the kitchen sink. I had no idea it could be that sparkly. :o

The oven man is coming tomorrow afternoon, so its floor and door been painted with an evil chemical. I had no idea it could be that grungy after only a month. :o

The 'compact' printer has arrived and is twice the size of the old one. I'm installing it, one page at a time from the manual, all on my own. First time I've done this.

In between printery things, I'm spending a lot of time Gliding. I've been Flying at breakneck speed when I could get my a into g for over a year, and not done much of anything for a month. I now realise I need to take my time over each little bit as I do it and today that regime is taking effect. OH is back on Wednesday, so I've only got three days of uninterruptedness. He is wonderful, but just occasionally it is nice to do something without having to explain everything in minute detail to him. 'I'm just askin' ....' V. time- and energy-consuming. The DW and WM are doing their things, I've got kitcheny stuff soaking in biologicals in the bath and my Indian cotton trousers soaking in non-biologicals in the scullery-type sink.

I'm feeding myself on spicy lentil burgers as and when, and Mrs Dog is snoozing happily. Her very weird bent ear perks up like a German Shepherd's when she's super-happy, and until she had her teeth dealt with I've only ever seen it for about 20 seconds prior to a walk. Since Saturday it's perky pretty much all the time. Thank you so much Everyone who has wished us both well over the past few days. It's been very touching to be on the receiving end of so much good will.

Are you okay, Natty? Since your cat was lost and found, I've been missing your comments. (((Hugs))) - if wanted.
    Better is good enough.

Valli how are you fixed for supply next week?

oooh again? so soon? *rubs hands together while cackling*

Can do Dusty - as long as they'll (waves hand in general direction of all Flyladies) have me!

I have eaten a frog of EPIC proportions - my receipts are checked, logged and shredded *gulp* May, some of 'em were from. Important ones (ie PoP) are saved. Bank account up to date. Boiler service booked. I have emptied box of paperwork I 'tidied' into at the beginning of the summer. I have found DS's carefully-filed student finance letter. We are having leftovers for tea; since they were actually left over quite a while back they will pass DS's 'I'm not eating that AGAIN' test.

I can now apply for DS's free prescription thing, though I do need some photocopies before I actually post it.

Thanks Valli, I shall be saying au revoir for a week and as it is the last one before lots return to school/work we need somebody with superb organisation skills ;)

Trainers purchased for both boys, so another step nearer to BTS. DS2 has grown too much, he is taller than DS1 now (have faith those with small boys, he started secondary schol in age 8-9 clothes)

Lots of DS1 clothes dry, next lot to be loaded in a minute whilst I have a cuppa and then hoover out the car per service, it is embarrassing.

    Mumto5 oh dear!

    HoHo welcome

    Froddy have a great week

Dusty.. my boys are all 5ft8/9 little short@r$es the 3 of them lol. DS2 was always tiny but DS1 wasn't! He was in 11-12 clothes for starting high school.. My son that started off smallest at 3lb 10 is now the tallest of the 3.

Little Miss Fattypuss is now 7lb 4... a whole 2oz over her birth weight... she is having milk to celebrate!!

Printer installed! And working! Go me.

Under the kitchen sink cupboard emptied, cleaned, sorted and restocked. Turns out it is big enough for everything that actually needs to be in there. :o

One third of the kitchen floor washed (it was minging), fourth load in the WM, DW unstacked. Sludge being brilloed off the hob and oven bits.
    Better is good enough.

Most bothersome... the element has popped in my grill... the one I wanted to use this evening for the pork steaks... in the oven they go then... it means dinner which was already an hour late is now going to be an hour and a half late!! Starving little people are NOT fun to be around!

Last of the bed sheets on the line.. they've gone out in 3 lots... Why do I ALWAYS put the mattress protector out last when that needs to go on first and I only have the 1?!
