The garden hose has been left on all night. The garden now resembles a bog. I sank into the ground up to my ankles when I put the washing on the line.

Plumber has been. £180 for a new fan for the boiler. He's jiggled about with the immersion heater and we now have hot water.

My hair is lovely and shiny having been washed in freezing cold water. Silver linings???

am currently washing a load of stuff by hand - I have dug out the 25 year old spin dryer from the garage and pressed it into service.

It has been a week since DD1 moved into the small bedroom. Although she hasn't got it fully sorted yet (DS a bit slow in removing some of his stuff) it is immaculate.

DD2 has the larger bedroom all to herself now. It is a PIT!

DD1 is feeling smug - she always said she was not the messy one.

Looks like you've edited the [color] tag of the end of the text when copying... better explanation may be along soon :D

Managed to tidy a good chunk of the kitchen last night due to batch cooking of veggie chili and tomato and veg sauce so hopefully will be able to Dys0n the whole flat tonight. Fingers crossed, eh?

Ok I have done a lot of cleaning and hubby and eldest even helped and we gave the house a good going over.

Situation I'm upset about has got worse and don't know what to think now :(
