I'm in thanks for the thread Natty and Dusty for the last one.
This week we are uniform searching (need to find trousers that stay up without a belt DS2)
Visiting the Postoffice
Making lists and packing again.
Finding some knitting to do whilst away.0 -
Thanks to Natty for the new list and Dusty for last week's.
I'm in tomorrow as I do have a kitchen. After that, who knows? Maybe I'll have a bathroom by the end of the week, though the lounge is about to disappear under a pile of steamed-off wallpaper! And as for the bedroom... well, we still have a bed in a room full of boxes - does that count? :rotfl:
But we did declutter some empty packing cases to DS1 this morning (he's moving in October). That reminds me: must make arrangements to go and see DS2 and DDiL on Wednesday and have a cuddle with DGS3 before they move. Their removals people are packing everything for them, so I don't expect they'll be able to find anything for a week when they get to their new home!0 -
Thanks Natty for the list.
So much to do and so little time here. Think I'll do a HHI before bed.
Need to be up at 5 to get ready to collected DS1 from the airport. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
I've just realised that tomorrow's list is the same as last Monday and I managed to complete that, so there is hope for tomorrow after all!Spend less now, work less later.0

count me in please, thanks for the list
my first week
I have made a start on the kitchen, it is looking a bit better and I am now the proud owner of a nice shiny sink. Washing up has been done and put away.
This week I will:
- follow the lists up to at least the 30mins level (I like that way of organising them, makes it much less daunting)
- wash up and put away every night before bed
- do at least one laundry load a day, until I clear the backlog
- sort/declutter at least one box or 30mins a day0 -
I'm in...
and the kitchen needs doing.
Froddy - if you know of anyone who wants a Reading ticket I know someone who's trying to sell one.
The undergarments abandoned on the bathroom floor have been returned to someone's room. At some point this week someone's going to run out of pants;)Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
Thank you Honey Bear0 -
Count me in this week!
We got back from the van on saturday and I have been catching up with the laundry and cleaning, the cat had fur balled in several places so I have cleaned the carpets in 3 rooms (FIL said the cat had pooed so I was quite pleased that it wasn't that!) bless him, he doesn't have a cat!
Tomorrow I am visiting a friend to drop off some rhubarb and then meeting another friend for coffee, when I get back I'll be eating a big frog and finishing hemming some curtains before I start my other jobs
Sleep well all
XxxxGo hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last0 -
