Hoovered half of the house, just going to do a bit more then lunch and then get a child to help hoover and clean the inside of my car.

Then JL for trainers if possible.

First must ring the uniform supplier

Ok I have done a lot of cleaning and hubby and eldest even helped and we gave the house a good going over.

Situation I'm upset about has got worse and don't know what to think now :(
(((HUGS))) and hope for best possible resolution for all concerned.

HB so glad to hear that Mrs Dof is finally pain-free.:T

I'll flutter about and get done what bits I can this week, in between looking after the two little princesses who arrived this morning. Pandy's as adorable as I remember (she was last here in August 2010) and her friend Patsy is just as lovely.:o

Washing that was set to come on at 05:00 this morning is all dried and in the airing cupboard; lasagne has been made and consumed for dins (Mr LW wfh today) and I'm completely out of spoons yet again.

    Morning! (Oops)

Ok I haven't achieved a lot today, but it is my first day back at paid stuff after 20 days!

I have, however (before work) purchased a new shower hose after my DIY incident, got another wash out on line an put some dry stuff away, ordered a new laptop for inlaws, and checked over my accounts / budget. This month I shall be hiding my credit card from myself :rotfl:. I get paid tomorrow. Phew.

Oh, I've emptied the DW too. Actually, the house is v tidy, as everything is put away, I just haven't cleaned it yet ;)

DS is on a summer club trip today. I told them this morning to take his bag. If they are going to insist I bring him a hat, water bottle and sunscreen, the least they can do is take it along. She said "we do tell them to bring what they need" so I replied "he is 4, as far as he is concerned, if he has a pair of shoes on, he's good to go. Please will you take his bag?"

They can't expect 4yo kids to be like the 11yo ones - and if they don't want to help them, they shouldn't offer places on trips to the younger ones.
    [\rant] :p

Anyway, we'll see what happens when I pick him up later.

WM just finishing it's spin so more for the line (it has gone rather dark here and the wind is picking up)

Mumto5 hope you're not on a water meter.

Valli how are you fixed for supply next week?

    Well said Bossy.

A drawer full of spoons for lamewolf

Resolution of conflict vibes for mummyroys.

Some of the ironing done. WM is awaiting repair. The foundations of the house are shaking when it spins so the mountain of holiday laundry will have to wait.

Your hope is in vain :-(

DS1 has managed to get a blob of paint on his rear. He has sat on the kitchen sofa. DH has used bleach to get it off. Yes it is as bad as you can imagine. I will be buying a sofa throw before the week is out.
  • Hiyas all can I please tag along to get back in the swing of tidy organized less chaos due to serious overtime and kids home from school:eek: 2 weeks and counting

Right - I'm packed and off to a field in Oxfordshire for a week! (Yes, I know Reading is in Berkshire but part of the Festival site is across the river into Oxfordshire and that's where staff camp!!)

Will keep up with the thread as long as new phone behaves.

Have a good week all xx
