Good evening everyone, visitors gone, 5 lots of bedding washed and dried for the next lot! Had a nice few days but hard work. Sorry I have missed keeping up.

I didn't have a bet today but I did pick a winner :T I didn't even mind not betting it, as at least I had picked one

It started out lovely here this morning, got two lines of washing done, a lovely walk and some housework.
Then the rain came

Am able to relax a bit now as neighbour won't be here now to do gate, maybe tomorrow?

Went over to more good neighbours late this afternoon - they had their son and grandson staying plus beautiful Hattie, gorgeous spaniel :j:j

Had wonderful cuddles with Hattie ..... greeted me like long lost friend :rotfl::rotfl:

Not sure what puddy will make of it when she wakes from slumbers and smells ............... dog scent on me!!!!!! Ho hum !!! xxx

firefly - thats OK I will wait until next time, I have eat too much sweet stuff while the kids have been here anyway, need to get back on the weight loss wagon before I loose momentum as I had lost about 4lb just by being good and having smaller meals etc.

Well done sylv!! :T:T You are doing better than me Seemed to have slipped by the way ...... my downfall has been strawberries n natural yog but then I sweeten it with castor sugar - delicious but ....... :eek:

Too late ff Cat woke up, came down for cuddle, smelt .......... dog ........... and has now gone back upstairs in huff puff mode!!! Not impressed!!!

No doubt I will be forgiven eventually!!!! :rotfl::rotfl:

Lol @ your puddy Alfie! Jasper can smell my mums female dog on me and keeps wanting to hump me! He was barking like mad earlier in the garden at what I thought was neighbours cat in their conservatory, turned out to be another cat we haven't seen before! Jasper must have knew it wasn't theirs!

Fire**fly, maybe the delivery driver fancies you and is buying the garlic so he can see you? Garlic pies?

My dad was making fadgies (bread buns) today and flans too! He's turned into a proper little domestic god since mum took ill!
He was telling me he helped mum in bath and she asked for her dentures to be cleaned, dad dropped them by accident in toilet but quickly fished them out and cleaned them before mum saw! :eek: :rotfl: (sshhh...don't tell mum! )

Sylvia, glad you got some peace and quiet now and time to comp Good luck tackling that washing! Is it thunder and lightening where you are? It's really loud and heavy here now!
Son had a footie tournament tomorrow so hope it stops soon.
