Been raining here all night by the looks of it but thankfully no thunder and lightening.
Hope you manage to get your jobs done and have time to rest as well Indie.
Love your pics last night/today firefly, thanks.
Sorry you didn't win iluvcats/alfie, hope you have better luck tonight.
Thought you were going away this weekend Sheils or have I got it wrong? Your steak pie sounded lovely, you could have done with some of firefly's rhubarb pie for afters with a big dollop of cream.
I bet you have a busy day planned with the kids Wingo, its much harder when the weather is not so good. Big hugs for you Mom.
Off to restock the cupboards.

Sun blazing away now so have the washing on and I still haven't got to the ironing! It seems to have been such a busy week. Just realised it is my sister's partners birthday tomorrow so will need to get him a card and get it delivered.
Yes Sylvia we are going away for 2 nights tomorrow. Staying near Preston (Bamberbridge area) at a H.I. Express first night and a Premier Inn near Skipton the second. Both really cheap deals as you would expectWe are hoping to do walks along the canals in both areas and I am going to start spending some of my Sainsburys voucher at Bamberbridges large store. Got the card all registered and checked the balance - always scared the money isn't in the cards especially after the time with the Sports Direct ones which were sent out before they were authorised. I stood in Sports Direct with lots of
£10 gift cards which wouldn't work and they had never heard of the comp I won them from. Lots of peeps had it happen to them on here. We had travelled 50 miles to spend them as well but luckily did have enough that worked to pay for what we wanted.
Anyway, must get on or I won't be able to go.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

Morning  looks like we've got a mixture of sunshine & rain today! Son is playing in a footie tournament today near Redcar so will pop up to see him then take the girls along the beach.
Postie has just brought Pepsi bottle which apparently is interactive too!
Also brought another rheumatology app for DD, they've cancelled the other in two weeks and it's not till oct now at a time when I'm working!I hate it when they do that!
Sheils, is your DS2 staying at home for good now then? I will be nice for you having him back home
I remember the sports direct one, I won some vouchers too with that comp!
Alfie, I had two dragonflies in the house last night and there was a massive moth on the kitchen door window which jasper was desperate to get at!
I gave him a bath last night so he couldn't wait to get out today and roll on his back on the wet grass!
Sylvia, sorry you're having to stock up again on food! It goes nowhere nowadays does it! I'm always topping up at farmfoods/iceland.
Lovely pics fire**fly! At first when I saw your first post this morning I thought we weren't allowed to use pics anymore!
Hope the shopping arrived ok
Good luck tackling them chores indie! Theres no such thing as a day off now is there!
I hope this rain stays away today. Enjoy your weekend everyone, didn't realise it was a bank hol on Monday!Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0 -

Wingo - me collie x used to have a bath and then go roll in the mud in the garden!!!!:eek:
Weather perked up here a tad so decided to tackle shed, particularly round the back of it
Loadsa leaves gathered there, so was clearing them away and huge toad/frog thing jumped out  Who was most startled - him or me!!!!? However, said hello to him and then he squished his way under
neighbours fence :eek::D
Still got loads to do, leggy critters are a worryHowever, will crack on - got to be done

My Spaniel used to roll in fish remains from the Fish Factory which used to be put out near the river where we walked. It really stank and was difficult to get off.
Hope you have a nice time in Redcar wingo. Will be a while until we are back there now. DS2 is only staying a week and then off to Sydney.
I don't like leggy critters either Alfie.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media
