I tend to put my lotto on online now ILC. I lost out winning £50 the other day as I normally have £2 left over and buy scratch card but I was talking and pressed try it now instead of buy! It would have been a winner!

Glad you got your phone Sheils :j Well done to you & Becks too getting the rice Krispie squares! I don't know what I done wrong buy the link just says game closed for me! Oh well, maybe next time!

Did you get your rhubarb pies/crumble done fire**fly? I don't know how you manage it all in one day then be up so early! I had a late night last night corpse DH on nights (can't sleep) and was late getting up today!

Got my tiny new tv box. Have loaded some apps. Vevo music channel is good. Be handy for watching films etc on big screen rather than lappy/ipad.


My Tesco coupons (2x £5 off £50) have flicked off somewhere. Not-end-of-the-world as only really offsets deliver or lug shop home!

Pleased meow came in eventually, must have been a busy night

Puddy was on the case early hours this morn - 3.33am to be precise :eek::eek: She could see foxes in the courtyard (had to get up and have a look out of window also as I was then wide awake !!). Foxes and also 2 local toms!!!!! Thankfully nothing untoward happened and after a lot of very loud noise, they all retreated back from whence they came!!

Puddy has been happily sending up the zzz's all day, no doubt will be wide eyed tonight and doing more curtain twitching!!! :rotfl::rotfl:

Weird weather here - strong winds this morn - so much so that part of me runner bean bamboo erection was blown over!!! Then it had a knock on effect and quite a bit was at half mast :eek::eek: Went out early to rectify it but must make it stronger next year!!! Thought I had did an ok job using the pyramid type structure all along but bean plants are getting quite large n heavy so reinforcement techniques required next year :D

Had a wee bit of sun earlier but now very low cloud and unbearably clammy/muggy and sort of spooky silence - am sure a thunder storm is on the cards? Don't mind if it will clear the air a little.

Me mum used to be dab hand also at making steak pies - beautiful pastry, steak, carrots, rich gravy. Not that I tried them but she used to make wee individual pies for my kids when they were younger and they loved them. No doubt they loved having a grandma from Scotland and all the tasty food she prepared for them!

Well - no sign of neighbour to fix gate at the mo

I was sure he was coming round this morn - so I sort of put everything on hold (get very twitchy if I know someone is coming, worse still if I have no idea of the time, can't seem to settle to do anything )) Daren't do much else may miss the call, so just tend to sit and wait - peering out of window at regular intervals.

However, he's a good neighbour so will leave it be for the moment - hate to hassle him else he may think I'm stalking him :eek::eek: :rotfl::rotfl:

Pie all made - just waiting for DD to finish making the birthday cake before I put it in the oven. Wine opened and going down nicely! DH is drinking the expensive red out of the Rod Easthope wines I won.

Bet the delivery guy is a bit worried delivering to you FF. He must think you live in a vampire area!
