Royal Mail Surveys rewarded with Stamps.

I have to say ive been a panelist for about 4 years and IMO changing to the 6 months on and 6 months off was the worst move they could have done...so by recruiting more panelists it probably just compounds the problems more!
I find the 7 week retraining flustrating when you rejoin after a break and each time although ive been asked back and not really encountered many of the problems others have like being dropped as soon as they are back...I have found the quality of the new recruits to be not as "polished" as the old regulars
Im not in any way trying to say that only the old ones are the best but it does seem that many people seem to sign up hoping for a good return for little work....it doesnt take long to read the training section and the faq sections but it seems that more and more seem perplexed by simple instructions....in essence 7 weeks of posting 2 items a week to a set address in no way prepares you for the regular posting or receiving required by the panel!.....something that needs to be addressed by those that run the panel and understood by those who take part.
However if you choose to commit to the panel I hope you do indeed enjoy being part of the service measures...but please understand what you are undertaking before agreeing to join....it isnt just a case of filling a few surveys in and getting lots of stamps in return
I shall now retreat back to the depths of the thread and climb down from my box!!!!!!frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

They'll recruit more people and there will be even more people not knowing what they are doing (like putting posting times and place on the front of the envelope - I got one of those today). Perhaps TNS could include in the training material what not to do as well as what to do.
I also seemed to have quite a lot of ones recently with people writing on the envelopes, I just email TNS the item number so they can let the senders know not to do it, as one I received had written next to the stamp and it made it difficult to read the posting mark. I also suggested they put it on the news and feature page as a reminder of not what to do!0 -
anyone looking to join might want to do so as I've received the following email
Dear Panellist,
The Royal Mail panel is expanding to enable us to better measure the wide variety of mail types that Royal Mail deliver.
This means we need to recruit additional panellists in all areas of the country.
If you know of anyone interested in participating in the measurement, please direct them to one of our self-recruit websites as detailed below.
For private individuals posting stamped test items in their local area and receiving test items to their home address, go to https://rmpri.research-int.com
For businesses that can meter-frank their outgoing mail and receive test items to their business address, go to https://rmbus.research-int.com
Perhaps the OP" 3010" of this thread might be able to include the links in the opening post while the panel get some extra recruits
Added the business link as requested.0 -
Missed the correctly delivered invitation again. not had one of these for about 9 months.:mad: Not even had a junk mail one for a while0

Just logged into my Royal Mail Panel and there was a invite to a correctly delivered mail survey starting shortly so check your Royal Mail Panel as these invites disappear quickly:eek:
Thank you for the reminder because I've been on a correctly delivered since the 30th and had forgotten all about it! Thankfully not had any incorrectly delivered items so was easy to catch up. Now just gotta remember to fill it in for the rest of this week!0 -
I'm back on resting again, I was taken off after 6 months, when my six months were up i asked to go back on, almost a year after put into resting i was reassigned, spent 7 weeks learning, spent 3 weeks doing it before getting a email informing me i had reached my 6 months, when i contacted them i was told i should have been reallocated automatically after 6 months and the system had a glitch and unfortuantly i was manually reallocated but the same computer has now picked up that im still active after my original cease date if i had been activated and has deactivated me, so have to wait another 6 months.
I was also short changed on my incentive stamps as i now keep a spreadsheet on when i receive them. they missed 2 lots, 1 may not have been their fault as the senders pack had been damaged and was missing the stickers and schedule as well.0 -
Hi Trust_no1 , quick question. I have been rested for over 12 months now but have been continuing with the correctly delivery surveys. Should I just register again to see if I can get on or how did you ask to go back on , just by emailing?
TIA.Mum to 2 lovely boys who keep me busy.0 -
Ring them up on the Freephone number that they gave you on your welcome letter.:j0

I'm doing the correctly delivered survey and just had a neighbour bring round a parcel for us that was delivered to their address instead. Am I right that there is no where for me to mention this on the correctly delivered survey? The postal workers do this all the time but this is the first time it's happened during the survey. I'm tempted to reverse it and say their parcel was delivered to us instead, just to get the point across.0

Hi
Shame you're neighbours aren't doing the Correctly Delivered survey:)
You are correct-the parcel wasn't' Doorstepped:
A 'Doorstepped' item is an item that has been left outside your premises by Royal Mail without prior agreement. An exception to this is 'Heavyweight' items which can be left outside by a delivery person as long as the item is not in view.Sealed Pot Challenge No 089-Finally got a signature.:rotfl::j0
