  • Excellent, thank you

It's just a shame they didn't let us know before we posted the boxes that we may be asked questions :D

I have just had to verify that I did post a letter last Friday at 10.50 a.m. because the postmark said I posted it on Saturday. I wonder what went wrong? I'm making an exact note of where and when I post my test items now (getting paranoid LOL)

if I get asked whats in the box I usually say im returning a sample to someone after choosing my seat padding...hence the reason the box is already stamped and if they care to open it all they would find would be foam!

I think there is a law about the carriage of areosols via the post and thats possibly why you were asked whats in the box.

I think pannelists tend to worry about being asked questions about their postings by vigilant postcounter staff but to be honest if you go prepared with a reason then its a lot less easy to become flustered if challenged

You could also say its an ebay package loads of those are posted everyday with little problem

I doubt PO staff really care
As long as they present all mail for the collection
That is all they can do
  • I've had one of those days...... completely lost track of what day it was, actually thought it was Friday so I went to post an item, realised as I let go that it was Thursday :o.... I've recorded that I posted it today so I hope it won't be a problem.

They want me to go to the Post Office twice today, I think it's a bit excessive having to go twice in one day, it'a a good job I'm off work.
  • You don't have to go twice. Post both items when you are at the post office. It is more important that the items are posted today rather than the time of posting.

theres many a time ive posted something at 12.55 and 1.05 at the post office or indeed a post box when they have wanted 2 time slot postings.

Yes I suppose it wouldn't make much difference at 12:55 and 13:05 they'd still end up in the same delivery anyway.
