How on earth did he manage to get £639 of unfranked stamps? You see a very odd one but that's just incredible. You would think, being a magistrate, that he would never have done something like that! I am surprised!

I could see that the one you had had "International" and the ones I have seen do not. It was also why I was asking dreamalittle about the oritentation (the old style smarts I have are portrait) .

Perhaps everything will be clearer in January.

They are not the same style.

Yes, this one I've got says exactly the same across the top in the same place. The writing on the bottom third of my SMART is covered by the code sticker so I can't compare that but everything I can see looks identical.

If TNS were expecting a Smart to be included then they will probably check with upsydaisydoo who can correct the record about not having received one - though it obviously doesn't have a four letter code.

I don't think it matters about doing both of the surveys (TNS and the international one) so it shouldn't get the sender "into trouble" if it is from the other survey. However it is odd that there is no four letter code as they must have removed it otherwise I don't know how they knew which one to include using the TNS system (IYSWIM).

Hi everybody. I was just wondering if anybody knew roughly how long after being asked to re-join the panel that you received further contact? Is it usually a posting pack sent out after saying you would like to re-join, or an email?

in total honest - how long is a piece of rope - depends on the area, I waited over 18mths, someone else 15mths, another a few weeks, it depends on how many they have in your area. x

Cheers. I was expecting it to be relatively soon. It seems silly of them to ask and leave it for months after, you might have changed your mind by then!

when they first brought it in they said 6months off then 6 months on, so in theory should work but some areas I think they recuited so many people, I do understand that some people will say yes then after couple weeks get fed up, and drop out, but its not fair to those of us that did it perfectly (or nearly) and get dumped on a scrape heat till they remember where we are,

During the rest you do get invited to misdelievery and leaflet surveys, but when you start again you have to go though 8 weeks of starting post......

For me it was within a month - my two six month stints have both gone smoothly, without any of the problems some have faced with constantly being "trained" and then told there is no space. You will have to do the training again, waste of time in my opinion for experienced panellists when nothing has changed about the way we do things. Still, two books of stamps for posting a princely two items a week for a few weeks was a pretty good deal in my opinion
