I currently have 17! 10 ready to use. 1 associated and 6 awaiting stock check. I have never had more than 4 in the past before they have asked for them back. I only have 2 items to post next week and only one needs a smart.

They have asked for 9 of them back today :T0 -

I have never had that much I am surprised considering they are always saying they are short of smarts they haven't ask you to return them.
I currently have 4 - 3 of which are allocated0 -
I today received an odd posting where the sender forgot to put the R number label on and forgot to enclose a smart - I have informed TNS an they have made a note.0

TNS are an awful company.
They always say if requested to send you must send them back even if you might need them the next week as you will probably get more by then.
In my dealings I would not say they are a 'awful company' possibly a little inefficient at times.
They are usually very good at resolving any problems that occur.0 -

That is because they update Smart records on Thursday evening & will usually make a request for return of surplus on Friday.
As you apparently received a lot of mail containing smarts this week you will have accumulated an unusual surplus.0 -
johnmoney05 wrote: »Yes, got the training package yesterday, still waiting for the smart though, posting the same dates as you. Guess another month for training!
Hope it's not too much re-training... When I first started, it was end of October so I'd gone live by Christmas and got the freebies; but in the last 2 years, I've done 7 month stints so I seem to have slipped round to Jan-July from Oct-Apr.
Mind you, I've done Unaddressed or Correctly Delivered every month for the last 16 so at least I'm getting something on a regular basis.I need to think of something new here...0 -
Yay. Training a couple of weeks ago, resting email last week, back on the panel email this week.
Why am I not surprised? All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

I have posted some xmas cards in my local Asda post box. The post box, which is very large, was jammed full of post. I just managed to get my cards into it. It is very clear to me that nobody from Royal Mail had emptied the box for a period of time and I wish to escalate to someone at Royal Mail. Does anyone please know who I should escalate to ?
By the way, there is a post office very close to Asda.0 -

You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time but you can never please all of the people all of the time0 -

"nobody from Royal Mail had emptied the box for a period of time"
True whether it was last emptied 12 weeks ago, 12 days ago, 12 hours ago or 12 minutes ago
Not very clear to me that collections are being missed.
Quite possible that scores of shoppers have done the same as you, posting several cards at once, each time perhaps a dozen or more (I posted 27 in one go myself just a week ago) and that it contains several hundreds since it was emptied yesterday

some idiot has has put a very large "stiff" envelope or package in it, just small enough to force through the slot but large enough to get stuck, lodged inside not far below it, something I've seen more than once.
