You need to keep them with a note of when received, etc & you should find they will probably appear to select on Monday.
I am currently receiving a Chinese newspaper and it often arrives before it is shown for me to select.

One minute I'm in training then I'm not; then it looks as if I'm qualified to take part, then I'm told thanks but no thanks. Don't know where I'm up to. Probably not worth the faff for a few stamps.

They are always doing this but hang on & when they select you again for training you will get the usual stamps plus the commerative ones. Even those of us who have done this a long time can have this hassle. In fact this time when I was due to stop after my 6 month session, they immediately asked me to continue as they are short of panellists in my area & I have been invited to both the correctly delivered survey and the unaddressed mail survey which are better as they pay £5 L2S vouchers for very little work.
  • Hi all, could you give me some advice please. I signed up several months ago and heard nothing then a couple of months ago I got an email saying I'd been accepted. Since then I presume I'm training. But I've had no manuals and every week I just send a parcel and letter to TNS. No manual, no information no advice. I didn't even know how to input the details online I just figured it out for myself. It all seems very odd. Can you advise how long I'll be doing this for and what happens next?

You usually do the training (i.e. sending post to them) for about 3 weeks before being put on the actual panel although if you look back on here you will find that often you are then told you are surplus to requirements!
To put it mildly they are the most disorganised company & nothing is a surprise from them.
If you are looking for information it is best to check the FAQ on their website for help or come on here & other members will try to answer any queries you have.

I had the same when I started. I've posted 3 sets of weekly letters, and then a few days ago I received the real smarts (I have 2, but they look slightly different). Then I received some of the training smarts again! Oh, and one of the real smarts helpfully says "international post - royal mail domestic".

They had me doing training for about 2 months. Some of the smarts they sent me during training were old real smarts other times they were cardboard.
The training manual is online, if you go to the website as normal, at the bottom of the front page it mentions training, if you press the button there it takes you the training guidelines.

I'm due to re-start (or re-train) next week and I haven't got anything yet. I'd better get Xmas stamps and diary in the first pack.....

    Can I be bothered?
I need to think of something new here...

Did you actually receive the email from them saying you would be restarting or are you assuming, as it is 6 months since you finished?

Just re-read your post so assume you haven't received the "welcome back" email. If so, they may not want you again now so you could just enjoy your Christmas without the hassle!

    Be patient!

I just received two emails from them today, so I guess probably will get their package end of this week.
