When entering the data online, I chose the 'none of these days' option.
Do I just leave it at that or should I email and inform them the plate is missing from the box? It's a small box on a pole (the rural type).
the one at our post office box is missing, so i always put the none of these option, ive been doing it for 3 months now and not been questioned about it0 -
Okay thanks Runnerduck.0

Hi HP
It is correct that we need to follow the online as I have been told it is most unto date. In my case it was about the SMART as on paper it didn't say to include it and online it said the code to include. As I had it I inserted in the parcel. I still emailed TNS to ask and they confirmed to follow the online instructions.
Label
In your case it is a bit different you don't have a printer label and online is telling you to include it. Read the label that you stick on the A4 sheet with R number on it. It will also have brief on what the parcel includes. If I am correct it should say hand written. In this case you have no choice but to hand write it. But as RD says email TNS to update them why the online instructions can't be followed.
Incorrect Adress
I would email TNS to inform of the full correct address. Yes it is true the door number and postcode usually gets the letter to the correct place. But it also helps the postal to have those extra details. As it is your first post when you come back to fill the completion of the posting the pack you will be asked at the end if the address given is correct or not. I would have put incorrect and email TNS. Let them decide if it is ok to continue or not.
Missing Post Box plate.
Because it is easy to take it out from top opportunists take advantage of it. The cycle of it going missing and replaced. I guess they are collecting it to make a 12 months calendar with these plates. Easy picking. I normally take a picture of the box including this plate, incase of discrepancies.
The whole purpose of this is to see if the information the RoyalMail have on you dress if the letter parcel gets to you as scheduled.

Please can someone confirm what I should enter online when receiving mail? Is it only items received from other panelists?
I've entered two smarts received from the WB office, but now I've re-read the guidelines, I think I've made a mistake.0 -
HP
You should only record the information about items received from other panellists.
It is not necessary to enter details of anything received from TNS. If they send you extra Smarts, they will add this information to your Smart stock detail.
How did you enter the Smarts you received as I would not have thought that was possible?0 -
Thank you Red. When I say I entered the smarts, it was the envelopes they came in (I think)....I think there were questions about the date on the postmark and if the envelope was clean or dirty.
The smarts seemed to be just a couple of pieces of cardboard with 4 letters on them and I thought I input those 4 letters somewhere, but can't remember exactly where.
I'm finding it confusing at the moment but hopefully it will all fall into place soon.0 -

Thanks Molerat, maybe I did it right after all. At least I hope so. There seems such a lot to remember. I've read the guidelines but I'm going to make my own notes too, to help me along.0

I hadn't realised you were still "training" and not on the full panel but luckily Molerat was better tuned in than me.
Don't get yourself agitated - as long as you always record everything online accurately, there should not be a problem.0
