Wooh! Just received the Golden SMART for the £100 vouchers. So pleased as I'm just recovering from a horrible heavy cold and feeling a bit low. What a great surprise :)

This is my second time on the panel and last week's posting plan was fairly heavy. Making up four cube boxes plus usual jiffy bags/envelopes and several days with going to the post office before and after midday. Surprising how much time this involved in comparison with normal weeks

    Hi

Well done but I only post once a day, haven't got the time to make multiple trips as I tend to post on the way to work.

  • I have always done 3wks UMS as well, you have been lucky to do 2wks and get a voucher for every 2wks work....
  • I've done two week Unaddressed surveys before, they started off telling me it was for 3 then didn't load the last week for me to input details. When I queried it they told me they'd reduced it. Still got the voucher.

This time round I've done 3 weeks and am starting immediately again on Monday for another 3.

I applied for this months ago and never heard anything since until an email today which is inviting me to a new research study by TNS and Royal Mail.

Basically I have to keep an online diary for one month only of all mail I receive.

Has anyone else had this? Is it legit?
I don't like clicking on links in emails but have to press on the 'Sign Up' button to apply for this.
Hovering the mouse over shows this as tnsglobal-mail.com. Is this correct or should it be tnsglobal.com?

    Thanks

Have now received more emails setting up my access to the system with RM and further details of this. It is called the Royal Mail Letterbox Diary. I will get £25 in vouchers for this survey.

I have to record all the mail I receive for the first week, then log its progress in the house for the following 3 weeks - unless it is discarded.

However it is now asking that I take a photo of the envelope and contents (excluding personal mail from family/friends)?
If it is a bill or statement then only a photo of the envelope is required.
I can also cover the address or any information I don't want to share.
Does this sound as dodgy to anyone else - or is it just me being over-cautious?

I have never done any of these surveys before, so don't know if this is normal.

I will probably ring them again tomorrow on the 0800 015 3150 number.

Anyone on here got any advice or experience of this, please?

Yesterday I received two smarts, so thought one of them would be GOLD :) But looking at the picture, it looks it's a mistake by a sender- they put two smarts instead of one.

Never heard of this kind of survey before from them - will be interested to hear if anyone on here has any information.

Do you receive a lot of post so that taking photos would be an inconvenience to you? I presume these will have to be forwarded to them online. Surely usually when you receive post you either deal with it & file or just recycle it. Can't understand why they want you to record its progress in the house - just doesn't seem to be relevant.

Hope someone else can give you definite information.

Congratulations Lulu - I think that is the first time anyone has posted on here that they have won it.
I'm amazed you make separate trips more than once a day unless it is part of your usual routine.

I've never before had to use the post office twice in one day, let alone consecutive days. Luckily the post office is only 0.5 mile away and as I'm homebased for work it gives me a chance to take a short walk away from my home office. The letter box I use is just 2mins walk from my house. My husbands posts for me if I'm out at business meetings as he's now retired.

Good to reassure others there's a chance of the Golden SMART!

Didn't have chance to ring them today, so may do so tomorrow.
Wondering whether to give it a miss as I'm still doubtful about it.

I don't get much post, so that in itself would not be a problem. Like you, I don't really understand the need for the information.
They say it's to find out what happens to mail after it has been delivered.

I find it a bit strange that no-one else seems to have heard about it either on here. Googling it produces a 10 year study between 1995-2005 which sounds similar according to themailhouse.

Any pointers would be really appreciated. I do not have to fill in the diary every day, as long as I do record each days activity.

    Thanks

Hiya hoping someone can help me. I've been on the full panel for 2 weeks now. I received an item today but it was actually delivered to my next door neighbour! It had the correct address on so a mistake by the postman. Can anyone advise how I log this or should I email them?
Thank you to everyone for sharing competitions!

I've five items to post next week but no smarts in stock. Hoping I may receive some in the post this week, but if not, I presume I should email them, maybe on Thursday and ask them to send some?
