Royal Mail Surveys rewarded with Stamps.

And on a new note...
Last week, after 5 weeks of training, I got an e-mail to say they were over-subscribed and I was being suspended.
90 minutes later I get an e-mail telling me to expect a live mailing pack this week.
Nothing showing in the posting plan so I'll just have to see what appears....
Nothing appeared for 10 days so I sent an e-mail on Wed 20th. No reply by Fri 22nd but on Sat 23rd I get two posting packs to start 2nd Feb. Two packs because I've got a Medium Brown and a Jiffy to go on the same day and a CD/DVD box to go on another. With Feb incentives and a Shackleton/Endurance Presentation Pack (which I quite like as I can use the high-values).
I guess I'll have to make do without a diary - sob!I need to think of something new here...0 -
A few months ago, after doing the postal survey for several years, they took me off the panel completely because Royal Mail had opened a package sent to me because it had insufficient postage and I hadn't collected it and paid the £1 fine. I'd had a card through the door but I'd ignored it as I wasn't expecting anything. I'd assumed it must be a catalogue or junk mail. I never imagined that a postal survey item would have the wrong postage on.
They said I'd been uncovered as a panellist but the postman must have known all along. Every week for 6 months I'd get loads of post, including huge envelopes with the TNS address printed on them, then it would stop for 6 months, then start again. It was even more obvious once they started with the boxes and cubes and the Swan Lane envelopes got bigger and multiplied.
I've got enough 1st class stamps to last a lifetime, but I miss doing the extra surveys for the Love2Shop vouchers.0 -
this may sound silly and maybe i'm a little confused. Doing the training at the moment, received my sender pack the other day with a note saying the SMARTS will be sent seperately. Today i received my first item with a cardboard square with a sticker attached with a 4 letter code saying "include this SMART in an item to be posted". Is this the SMART i thought it had a barcode etc on it and was plastic wrapped? Help please

They use cardboard 'SMARTs' while you're doing the training. They obviously had a load go missing or something!0 -
I'm in a similar situation, just started re-training and received a Smart this morning to be included in a delivery next week.
Last time I did the survey, smarts were black plastic, but these seem to be new ones. No problem, just enter on website receipt of smart, and enclose with correct envelope, typing details on website when ready for despatch.
Unable to do the latter part yet as the details aren't online yet, it will probably be Monday next week when they are.
Good luck0 -

One was for a postbox in London (I'm in Scotland!) and the most recent is for one of my boxes, but I definitely have not changed any last pick up times. Anyone else had similar emails from TNS ?
yes i had that happen miles out from where i live ,also had two about diff times , but i never changed them either i e-mailed them and told themthe truth is out there ... on these pages !!0 -
I got one of those emails too and was baffled by it as I didn't change the time. It's obviously a glitch in their systems but I bet they don't send apologies out
It's good to know I am not going crazy:beer:0 -
