Why do they do it ? I have 2 items to post on one day next week, one before midday and one after. The following day I have one for before midday and one before final collection so no problem there.0

Anyone help please.
I have just posted my first 2 items. One was from a local post box and the other was a jiffy bag from the local post office. Am i meant to go and hand the jiffy envelope with the £3.30p stamp on to the counter or am i ok to post it in the post box outside the post office?
I go to work at 8am & dont come back till 6pm. So there is no way i could post it via the counter as it clashes with my work time.0 -

Glad you found the answer, but the part in bold is a problem.
You will have to, around once a month, send a cube which requires you go in to the post office and buy a post label and post it over the counter. If you're never going to be able to do this, or find someone else to do it for you on the right day (ignore the timing if you must) then you're going to have an issue.Comper and general cheapskate0 -
I've received a number of items with the card inserts but without the wads of folded A4 paper. Are the senders harvesting the paper?0

Yes, seems to happen quite a lot. It appears that the senders do not realise that the items need the paper inserted to meet the postage being paid.
Perhaps RM should be including an extra question to check this problem.0 -

Just want to say thank you to the contributors here: firstly because it's something I didn't know about and, secondly, for all of the useful information. Doing my first 'test run' items this week and, by looking through the posts, have sorted what to do and when. Much easier than the official info!!0

just had email to say they dont need in my area and they stopped my account ?? why ??0

Stopped as in completely stopped, or stopped as in oversubscribed and resting?
If they're oversubscribed they'll call you back in a few months. Or (this being TNS) in the next few weeks. In the meantime you can still do the correctly delivered etc.
If you're off the panel permanently then somehow someone has found out and your address is compromised. Or you've been getting it horribly wrong. Either way, you'd be off the panel for good. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0
