Anyone got any tips on lying? The one thing I hate about the job is posting the 'cubes' at the Post Office. I hate the interrogation session about contents, and having to lie.

I'm asked every time I post a cube and usually tell them it's card making stuff (the little embellishments you stick on cards are usually made of foams or foils that don't weigh anything).

I'm an avid knitter so I lie and say it is knitted baby things.

No reason why not - if they're short of panellists then it may be before the 6 months is up. In the meantime there's always the correctly delivereds and unaddressed mail to be getting on with.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

Received my first jiffy bag today from another panel member. I think they were an ex employee of MFI because they sent it flat packed.

It took me a good 15 mins trying to figure out what to do with a CD/DVD box. It's so simple when you realise :o

    :rotfl:

I received one today from another panel member and in case I get into difficulty in the future i will keep that one as a guide on how to assemble it.

Keep them with your stock SMARTS until you either use them in your next batch of items or, on Fridays, TNS update the website and may ask for some SMARTS to be returned - if this is the case then the Return Smarts to TNS section on the website will turn red and you will be able to check which SMARTS need to be returned by clicking on Manage My SMARTS.

As a rule, don't bother returning SMARTS to TNS unless they ask for them, you will need them to use in other items sooner or later :)

  • Just started the training period again.
Have received the first posting pack, I understand I need not log that in the Received item list.
However the Cardboard SMARTS are received separately, should I log their R Numbers as received.
    Thanks
