I'm lucky as I am a business seller who posts parcels daily and have used the same post office for 15 years. They know the contents of my parcels so I don't get asked any tricky questions.

Going back to the subject of Unaddressed Mail - I have received formal confirmation that all unaddressed mail received, irrespective of its source, should be included in our report. So, that includes the Greek looking, but perhaps not Greek, takeway delivery man and also the vicar!

How big is your letterbox if you can get an unaddressed vicar through it :-)

I've been doing it 2 months out of 3 for the last 6 and it has to be everything - otherwise you would have to see it delivered and identify the delivery person.

Funnily - what I noticed over the summer was that a lot of the pictured items were not actually arriving and I was being repeatedly contacted by TNS to confirm that I hadn't seen them. So possibly there was an actual problem in my area. Which meant they kept asking me to do another stint (before the previous one had ended) and thus another £5 voucher arrived...
I need to think of something new here...

Ah yes, I hadn't thought really. As I live in the middle of nowhere I'm liberated from junk mail, pizza delivery offers and obscure religious convertionistas - well other than the vicar that is! So I always know if something is delivered, I can see a car coming a mile off and nobody comes apart from the red van.

I appreciate that if you live in a street and if you're out for most of the day, then you're not able to differentiate.

Mu husband replied 'we are selling fresh air' when our local post office lady commented on how light the box was. Did it contain feathers?

My local post office is the village shop and at first they just said 'I assume there are no prohibited items in there'. Now they don't ask.

I do sometimes reuse cubes I have received for posting personal mail and they are not so light which probably helps.

Silly question I'm sure, but just to confirm - if there's no SMART listed next to an item in the posting plan, then I'm not to include one?

Yes that's correct, some items don't have smarts.
If you check online though and it says "add smart" without saying which one, you just choose an unallocated one from the smarts you have in stock.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.
