So why are they telling me to use the post office if I can use the post box :undecided, sorry just don't want they it wrong, I've posted the letter in the post box today and selected post box

    Which is correct.

I think the confusion is because they only offer 2 options ...

which are Post Office OR Post Box

when in fact there is a 3rd which basically is BOTH
(and this is their preferred "Post Office" option IF the mail will fit)

By BOTH I mean, you must use a Post Box but one that is actually located AT a Post Office.

Just make sure that the Jiffy is NICE AND THICK

    MORE than an INCH

So that it gets treated as a Small Parcel (hence the £3.30 stamp) and NOT a Large Letter

Easiest is to fold the "Packing Paper" at least 3 times in BOTH direction and put it INSIDE the Cardboard sleeve.

It will still go in the Postbox

    Hi

Here we go again.:eek::eek: You do not need to do this. If we did, TNS would advise us to do it or it would done by them. Don't waste your time.

    Hi

One of the above numbers may be on the sheet with the R number or the envelope. If there's none, just put none of the above. (Those codes were on post I received from TNT and some others)

Just received a call today saying i had completed my training and will receive items from other panellists. However I will not be very impressed if I receive a flat jiffy bag and smarts missing.

. . . because they are part of a sorting system to identify the area for delivery, I believe

the more digits (other than trailing zeros perhaps) the more precise the area is identified

No need for you to be impressed or otherwise by other panellists when it doesn't affect you - though you may think the "training" counts for nought.

However, what doesn't impress is when it could be deemed to affect your being incognito and a panellist leaves a post-it note on an envelope writing out in full "post box, after noon, 14/9" or something similar or write it even on the front of the envelope.

I certainly do not think the training counts for nought as you put it. I suppose in any job you are bound to get some monkeys if you only offer peanuts. However for me that is fine and intend to do the job to the best of my ability.
