I received an email stating that I had posted outwith my postcode area - which I haven't. I usually post in the same 3 post boxes and have never had a problem before. Has anyone else, mistakenly, had this e-mail before? I have now noticed that I don't have anything to post next week now. Hope they haven't kicked me off. :(

    Hi

Yes, I received the same email. Just emailed them saying I didn't. It's strange as I live and work within the same postcode area. No. I wasn't kicked off the panel.

Hi I started doing is a few weeks back and I've been asked to post a package (jiffy envelope) at the post office 'before last collect' . I'm working 9-6 tomorrow so I'll miss it if I post after work, so can I take it the post office before work at 8am .?

Jiffy bags can go in a post box, and yes, you can post it in the box any time before last posting time.

From the FAQ (which you should probably read :))
Do I use the PostBox inside or outside the Post Office?

You can post your items in the PostBox outside the Post Office, which is our preferred option.

Our new system allows you to add Post Offices as well as Post Boxes. To select a Post Office please click on Manage my Posting Methods.

Had your parcel time been after midday, you could still post it before work:

The schedule has asked me to post at a time I cannot make. What do I do?

You may post the item at a different time, as long as survey items are posted on the correct date and before the final collection.

If you cannot make the day of posting, please post the item the same day the following week before the final collection. Please ensure that you update the system with the amended time of posting.

Thanks :). I had a quick read and you're right I need to have a through read. I had 2 items the jiffy and a small white letter. The instructions told me to post the letter I a post box and the jiffy at the post office (it has a £3.50 stamp on it )

Just make sure that the Jiffy is NICE AND THICK

    MORE than an INCH

So that it gets treated as a Small Parcel (hence the £3.30 stamp) and NOT a Large Letter

Easiest is to fold the "Packing Paper" at least 3 times in BOTH direction and put it INSIDE the Cardboard sleeve.

It will still go in the Postbox

It's actually better if you don't use the post office but use the post box. Not only do they prefer it, it means you miss out on the awkward what's in the parcel question. Medium Boxes and Cubes must go to the post office counter. Otherwise, just use the box and you're golden. :)

Thanks I was thinking the post box but thought they would be able to tell or ask for details off the receipt as it had said to post at the 'post office'. What would I put on the phone online log if it's asked for post office ? Just the post box?

Under your POSTING METHODS you should have BOTH the Post Office AND the Post Box that's outside as separate entries.

You select PO IF you hand it over the counter ...

and Post Box if you pop it through its slot.
