sounds like the dvd box, the internal piece should wrap round the polystyrene in the opposite orientation to the outside closure, the 'triangle' is to change the orientation of that piece stuck inside the outer 'wrap'
All mine I have due to post are closed up otherwise I'd take a picture.

Probably a stupid newbie question so forgive me if it is, but today I have received items one of which is in a postage paid Indicia envelopes. Do I enter this as having a postmark as it is not one of the example postmarks shown.
  • I have just posted my first item over the counter. I am being asked for the " Last Acceptance Time" of the post office. What does this mean. Is it the time on the postbox outside for final collection?
  • Is anyone else getting fed up with having to write the addresses on the cubes, letters, DVD/CD boxes, etc. rather than TNS providing labels for the packages ? Are they trying to test our writing capabilities or the post office reading our writing ?

Come on TNS grow up and act with more sense !

The following is taken from the FAQ on their website

What does Last Collection Time stand for?
The Last Collection time is the last time at which the Post Office will accept an item to be despatched on a given day. Typically there is one time for Monday to Friday, and another for Saturday. We use the Last Collection Time to accurately measure the length of time it takes Royal Mail to deliver survey items.

Where can I find the Last Collection Time?
The Last Collection Time will be displayed in the Post Office. Alternatively the Post Office staff will be able to tell you.

When do I need to enter my Last Collection Time of my post office online?
We will ask you to re-enter the Last Collection Time of the Post Office you have used to post survey items every two months. You will need to enter the Last Collection Time for items posted Monday to Friday, and again if you post an item on a Saturday.

Worth always looking on FAQ as most queries are covered there.

Of course, they need items sent which are handwritten. How would this be a good test of deliveries if all addresses were neatly typed and easily legible?

Having seen the way some items are addressed by posters on here I am amazed that more post doesn't go missing.

These are the Royal Mail inidicia shown in FAQ on the website

What is a Royal Mail Indicia?
Traditionally, non R-number items feature one of the Royal Mail Indicia below.

    Have you looked at these?

I'm not sure this actually answers JazzyJ's question.

I'm not sure if what I'm doing is correct, but when it's one of the indicia as above, I put it as not having a postmark. If you say it does have a postmark it will then ask you for the date and time of sending, which obviously is not something that is included with this type of postage mark.
