Just been logging an item and the SMART code wasn't recognised, get the feeling the sender has put the wrong ones in their postings this week. I've been told to send it straight back to them.0

This might have been me. I'd returned all spare Smarts with the exception of 2 needed for the week. When I was entering the data I hadn't expected a returned Smart to be allocated and hit 'next'. The system wouldn't allow me to go back. I emailed and got this response:
"If you prepared your item but forgot to add the allocated SMART, please return this SMART to us in one of our SMART return envelopes.
If you added a SMART to a Non-SMART item or added the wrong SMART to an item, please do not worry. The receiver of this item will log the correct information and the SMART will then be returned to us before it can be used again."0 -

Question
What's all this about rest periods and retraining ?0 -
Hows this one work?I sent an item with a smart in,100% sure,i have no more smarts to put in the item so i can't put a "wrong" one in.When i enter online that the item has been posted, the smart vanishes from stock as usual.Next day the smart i sent is suddenly back in my stock:think:0

You get rotated on and off the main panel, although you can still do the unaddressed mail and correctly delivered while resting. It's meant to be 6 months on and six months off but that depends on the numbers in your area. I usually get called back sooner. When you start again, you redo the training you did as a new panellist. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -

The unaddressed survey is the easiest of the surveys available. It lasts for 3 weeks and at the end there is a £5 Love2Shop voucher as a reward. All that is required is that you record however many items come through your letterbox but have no address details on them, for example any of the onaddressed items which are delivered by the postman, any free local papers, and any flyers from local businesses etc. There are occasionally specific items which TNS have been warned are due to be delivered, and if these are expected then TNS will add an image of them with checkboxes available so these specific items can be noted separately.0
