Royal Mail Surveys rewarded with Stamps.

I got invited to do it by TNS (surveys first, then got invited to Shopandscan, then the unaddressed mail survey) and after a few times I was invited to the main RM survey, but I declined as I was too busy and am I right in thinking it's pretty time consuming? They've asked me twice now, so if they ask again I might be tempted! However, I've been doing the unaddressed survey almost continuously for 2 years now (3 weeks on, 3 weeks off - but I get the option each time, so can pick and choose which I do) and it pays £5 for less than 10 minutes "work" spread over 3 weeks, so about £100 total (and I don't even have to leave the house!) which seems like less work for more reward (than the main survey)? So just wondering how much more time consuming is the main survey?
The short answer is : a lot. It really all depends how far from a post office you live because there are some items which have to be sent from there.
In my opinion, the unaddressed and correctly delivered are by far and away the easiest and least time-consuming plus of course they pay in vouchers - I have enough stamps now to last my lifetime0 -
I regularly do the unaddressed mail and correctly delivered surveys.
For the time involved, both surveys are well paid, and involve very little effort.0 -
considering each month you get 12 first class stamps which is £7.44 to buy and 4 large stamps £3.72. its not bad if you use alot of stamps. plus you get diarys at christmas and such
i dont live near a post office and im a stay at home person. but i make it work0 -
Thanks the replies
The 3 nearest post offices (within 2 miles of me, in various directions) have all closed in the last few years and now the nearest is over 5 miles away (and not somewhere I go regularly), so it may be tricky, but I'll consider it more carefully if they ever ask again!0 -

Do you have a postbox closer?
Some items are posted in postboxes and some at the post office. These must all be in the area of the letter/s at the beginning of your postcode.
The place of posting in interchangeable as if, on occasions, you can't manage the rquested one you can use the other
The items must be posted before last collection.
Some weeks I have had things to post every day , others only two days.
You do get items that must be posted over the counter of the post office. Also some items you recieve will not go through the letter box so , if you are not in when the postie calls, you need to collect or arrange for delivery when you will be at home.
A lot to consider before signing up.0 -

you can choose another PostBox in your postcode area, which is indicated by the letter(s) in the first portion of your postcode.prernakapoor wrote: »Yes, I saw that, but it seems odd that the entire 'E' area is covered by my postcode as that is all of East London. They struggle enough as is to coordinate overall postcode areas!0 -
mine is under a minute from my door haha0

Received a survey letter this morning, which was opened, but also contained 2 smarts. Anyone know what to do about this, before I email to ask 0

Have you tried inputting the letter details on to the system as normal...I believe that it should reject the details of the incorrect smart assuming the sender did enclose the correct smart and an additional one.
that should leave you with one correct smart to add to your collection ....the second one I would pop in a smart return envelope and just send it back.
If that doesnt work you may need to email them...although if you mention that the envelope was open when you received it that could compromise your position on the panelfrugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

Thanks LEJC. Will try and input it as usual, and if no joy, will email them.0
