Interesting scenario for me on re-training this time.
Had 2 weeks of posting 2 items back to Mrs S. Nothing for 2 weeks but today have received the schedule for next week with 5 items to post to real people!
The mailing also included usual monthly stamps, Christmas presentation stamps, 3 letters with different relevant information and 5 smarts.
It looks as though they may now be properly organised but will be interesting to see if this is a one-off.0 -
Newbie question but..I have received a small cardboard with a 4 digit smart code on it. Inside the envelop I'm supposed to send, an A4 paper asking me to affix R number label here.
On the panel website asks; Did you put SMART AEDB with Poster Item?
Does that mean to put small cardboard inside the envelope ?
I'm confused really so any help appreciated:eek:

The piece of cardboard with the code on is a training smart, all training smarts will have the same AEDB code on. If the schedule says to put a smart in then yes the cardboard training smart will go in the envelope. When you post of the real panel all smarts have different codes & the online schedule may ask you to include a specific code in a letter therefore do not just blindly make them up without checking off on the online schedule.
You should have a sheet of sticky labels in your posting pack, the labels on the left column will have an address or "please write the corresponding address on posting item ****" or something roughly to that effect these if its got an address it goes on the outside of the envelope if not then you are meant to write the address on by hand and can discard the label instructing you to do that.
The labels on the right column will state something like: "R****, 1st class, small brown, written, 'postcode' " this is the R label that needs to go on the sheet contained within the envelope.
The person receiving needs the R number to book it in successfully on the system.
Hope that makes sense.- Mortgage: 1st one down, 2nd also busted

After 4 lots of training spread over more than a year, looks like I'm heading for the panel!
Just assembling a box and, this sounds petty, are we supplied with sellotape at some point? Just wondering if I'll be doing much assembling of future boxesSaving money right, left and centre0 -

They gave all panellists sellotape before Christmas. You should ask for it.0 -
I'm on the panel in two weeks time, just practising my cardboard box assembly for now it would appear.
Presumably the sellotape will come with the new panellist's pack?Saving money right, left and centre0 -
Last week I had to wait until almost posting day for a SMART to put in one of my items. I now have this and next week's postings allocated and still have 8 sitting spare !! I think they need to do a bit more work on where their SMARTs are going.0
